I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised to see Atlanta lose to Carolina and New Orleans. I won't go as far as to bet on it straight up but I like the odds.

If Atlanta were to lose one of the next two, and Tampa could somehow beat Carolina next week, then Carolina and Atlanta play the last week. The loser would lose to us in a tiebreaker if we win out.

The trouble with the GB/Carolina type of games is that it definitely helps you on one hand and definitely hurts you on the other, no matter which way it goes.

The good news is that now we control our own destiny VS GREEN BAY and you can root for Green Bay the rest of the way out, including against the Lions. We weren't realistically catching Carolina anyway.

We really need for Atlanta to lose. If they don't they can start warming up the cremation ovens on our playoff hopes.
