NY Blog: Justin Tuck: We're not in business of buying championships (like Dallas)

How can he say we are buying a championship?

Hasnt that idiot ever heard about the thing called a salary cap that all teams are tied to?

NY is quickly moving up my list of who is hated most in the NFC East.

we tried to buy a championship? you mean like buying our players to remain on the team

who exactly did we buy? know wonder you dropped to the 4th round guy, you're freakin' ********

Alright Tuck,

you wanted the law, you got it, you tell them the boys are coming
and h3ll is coming with us. :explode:

The buying championships comment is patently stupid (and it's not like we don't have our fair share of cocky guys and motor mouths on this team..... getcha popcorn ready) , but if I were Giants fan I would be happy to hear they have a chip on their shoulder even coming off a Superbowl. I hope this Cowboys training camp has more of a no-nonsense, chip on your shoulder atmosphere to it coming off of last year's playoff embarrassment, rather than another Jerry silly dog and pony show of Rowdy riding an ATV onto the practice field waving a flag with a Ford logo on it in front of Hard Knocks cameras while the players are trying to practice. Save the celebrations and the tickertape parades until after we've done something this year.

I'm Gonna take great pleasure in watching the Cowboys kick there Arse twice this season.

can we still lock up homefield and have nothing to play for, so you can up your win total?;)

i think he meant the celtics!

man, we can't even buy a playoff win. :laugh2:

This is what division rivals are about. We had the right to dog em after sweeping them in the regular season and they had the right to dog us after knocking us out of the playoffs.

While I definately feel great individual players on a team doesnt equal a great team, Tuck needs to check himself before he runs his mouth. The only high profile player we added this season is Pacman who we got for chump change. This is a free agency and cap salary league. Every team does it.

damnit, we have to win a superbowl.

before we do, we have no weight in saying anything.

go cowboys

I don't think the Giants make the Playoffs this year, With Shockey's trade, Plex's crying, Bradshaw serving time and Strahan's retirement it's not looking good already, I see them at 7-9.

Bradshaw already served and plax crying won't be the reason. the other 2 could though.

there in the business of getting lucky and receiving league help.

but i guess thats all it takes

What a brainless individual. So we're not allowed to spend big on our own players now?

Dallas only signed 1 legit FA this year, Zach Thomas.

NYG signed 3 legit FA's this year, Sammy Knight, Renaldo Wynn, and Shane Olivea.

14 of the 22 NYG starters were originally drafted or signed as an undrafted FA by the G-Men.

15 of the 22 Dallas starters were originally drafted or signed as an undrafted FA by the Cowboys.

And oh yeah, there's something called A SALARY CAP that teams cannot go over.

It's the same crap with Dallas being accused of "buying championships" back in the 90's when the overwhelming majority of the team was drafted by Dallas and the roster got pillaged by other teams when the salary cap was instituted. Because we're the Cowboys and Jerry Jones has the audacity of paying players that the team drafted and developed, we're "buying championships" while other teams who hit FA harder than the Cowboys are doing are "not in the business of buying championships."

Good grief.
