look the giants are a different team than the one we played in week 1. the cowboys are also a different team. i don't put alot of stock into week one games because teams aren't playing to there full potential. some teams are learning new systems(giants and boys on defense). take for example a few years ago the bills beat the pats 31-0 in week 1. the pats went on to win the freaking superbowl.
No doubt, teams should improve throughout the season, but we're looking for patterns here, tendencies that manifest themselves on a weekly basis.
For instance, one pattern has been the Cowboys' excellent play on offense. They've moved the ball well every week since week 1, and there's no reason that pattern shouldn't continue.
Undoubtedly, the Giants have improved on defense, especially pressure on the passer; however, the Cowboys' O-line has excelled at pass blocking, and Romo has proven capable of avoiding even the more intimidating pass rushes.
Ergo, I see no reason to classify Dallas' week 1 offensive output an aberration. They've moved the ball well all season thus far.
