If you go back and reread my post, I never said the Cards win was impressive. I even said that it was the only game where Eli didn't really look too good. You said that the Cardinal Passing game lit them up which was a direct contradiction to the point you made about Eli loading up against a defense in prevent.
I didn't contradict myself at all, I never stated that it would always be easier to pass if you are behind. Sometimes, depending on the team you are facing and QB you have, it could be harder to pass when you are trailing big. But sometimes it could be a lot easier. There is no contradiction there, maybe you should go back and reread my post - because I never said that you can always pass easier if you are getting blown out.
Some defenses will come after you and pound you when they know you are going to pass. Some will sit back and allow completions because they know you aren't going to win anyway.

Who cares who they sacked? You said they have no pass rush, which is the act of putting pressure on the QB. I don't care if it's Kurt Warner or Dan Marino.
And you responded by bringing up their seven sacks. So apparently YOU care who they sacked. They managed to get to the statue formerly known as Curt Warner a whopping 3 times. They got to Brees 0 times. Their big game getting to the QB came against a team forced to travel to Giants stadium against their will, for a 'home game' where they were the visitors. It was obvious from the get go that the Saints wanted nothing to do with that game, and I can't blame them - it was a farce. You can put a lot of stock in that if you like, to me that whole thing was a joke.

Well which is it? Does their defense suck or does Eli/the offense suck? You keep saying their pass rush, their pass D, etc., sucks, and then you turn around and point out all the turnovers they're causing (even though you phrased it as the other team giving it away). Teams have been "Daring" him to beat them for a year now. You think they have just been ignoring Tiki until this past game? The defense was the reason they lost last night, not Eli.
Why do I have to choose? Their D is questionable, their O is too. On D you can talk about 'all the turnovers they have caused' but let's look at them - they netted 2 turnovers against the mighty Cards (who have turned the ball over 6 times in 3 games). They managed to take the ball from the Chargers exactly 1 time. So all the turnovers they caused came in that farce of a game against the Saints - a Saints team that turned the ball over 4 more times on Sunday against a Vikings D that nobody is calling opportunistic. Maybe, just maybe, the Saints are struggling because of outside factors, and throwing them in Giants stadium for their first 'home' game probably didn't help. You want to heap kudos on the Giants for that game, feel free. But it's going to be a long season for you waiting for more performances like that from the Giants.

Going back to last year, in his last 6 games, Eli has performed well in 4 games, and average in the other two. Before the last 3 games last year, he was absolutely putrid. He's showing a ton of improvement, there's no reason not to believe he's becoming a very good QB/
He is becoming a very good QB, but he's not there yet. He's still vulnerable to the mistakes of youth, and a good D will exploit that. SD was a learning experience for him, and he learned that he's going to have to do a lot more to keep his team in a shootout.
