I'm with you, it makes no sense to me.

I've seen WR's run lazy routes.

Dak throw a bad pass when someone's open.

Zeke not have the burst to hit a hole that he did when he was younger.

I've seen McGovern play better than the credit he gets.

I've seen Kellen call beautiful plays, and stinkers.

I've seen this offense look unstoppable.

Where does the problem lie? None of it makes any sense to me. Like you stated, top 3.

The funny thing is that people who are supporters of Dak will claim that there is nothing to see here. That it is perfectly normal for a dude who is the "franchise QB" to have a requirement of a simplified offense. People here didn't much care for the defense being dumbed down for Jaylon Smith - why then are they so gung ho about doing the same thing to the offense for one guy?

We need to "aquire" offensive "skill position" players this year and bring in more talent and speed. Imo

He's still a pretty young kid that has a lot to learn. He just has to work his way up through the coaching ranks and pay his years of dues like everyone else. Imo

Id find a qualified candidate before I moved him to QB coach. Just keep his salary the same lol

Dont know if you can go backwards with a demotion for him. They did him no favors making him oc before he learned to be a coach. He needs to learn how to install run plays that work.

The points are inflated from a few outlier performances and our defense leading the league in takeaways.

Funny how the Dak defenders say Dak had no weapons this season....yet herald Dak for his performance while saying Moore sucks.......and last year Dak had weapons and they herald Dak's performance while saying Moore sucked......their excuses and hypocrisy is endless.

Yup, and it's time for new ideas. 50 curl routes a game aren't going to win anything. We need a better game plan and a better OC.

Almost every fan on the site, Dak fans and non-Dak fans, have called for a new OC ever since he took over.
Why those who don’t like Dak would suddenly change their tune and support Kellen Moore is beyond me.

I’ve seen just about every poster in this thread defending Moore and saying he’s the scapegoat also say Moore sucks as a play caller this very season.

You know it’s okay to not like Dak and want a new OC who might run a modern offense. You can still dislike Dak. This offense, run by Garrett, Linehan, and now Moore, has been near the top of all offenses in every tenure with better receivers, a better run game, and Romo and Dak…..during the regular season. This offense has been shut down in the playoffs against good defenses under all three OCs and both QBs. Moore knows no other NFL system, so if we want a different system, it comes with a new coordinator. That’s not scapegoating anyone.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!! Moore runs an offense that doesn't have a lot of evolution during the game. It's pretty much just the same stuff every game just mixed around. We need an offense where there's new ideas and more options. The fact is, Moore runs a Linehan/Garrett offense. Mike McCarthy runs more of a traditional WCO as he's from the Walsh tree. Their two styles don't mesh well. How can we be consistent on offense when our HC and OC have different philosophies on offense? That in it of itself is a problem. What we need is an OC from the Walsh tree as well that more aptly fits the HC's philosophy. It's why most HCs, unless there's owner interference, sack all of the previous staff within two years. Moore has been here for three with Mike and a while with Garrett. It's time for a change on offense, and it should start with the OC.

Ooooor, we could be finally getting rid of one of the last coaching holdovers from the Jason Garrett years, and we can get some new ideas that suit Mike McCarthy better, in a move that, frankly, should have been done years ago.
