nyc's song of the day

Wow....I'm the Man........I haven't heard that song in 15 years! Nice choice!

On This Day in History...
June 20th, 1969 - At 10:56 p.m. EDT, American astronaut Neil Armstrong, 240,000 miles from Earth, speaks these words to more than a billion people listening at home: "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Stepping off the lunar landing module Eagle, Armstrong became the first human to walk on the surface of the moon.

Conspiracy is really the only album as a whole that I actually like from King Diamond. (only one I own) Andy and Pete did a great job on this album. It's a major part of why I listen to it. Generally singing with that high a of voice would turn me off, but there were extenuating circumstances when I first heard this album that caused me to like it. :laugh2: This album is good stuff.

On This Day in History...
July 21, 1925 - Schoolteacher John T. Scopes is convicted of violating Tennessee's law against teaching evolution in public schools. The case debated in the so-called "Trial of the Century" was never really in doubt; the jury only conferred for a few moments in the hallway before returning to the courtroom with a guilty verdict. Nevertheless, the supporters of evolution won the public relations battle that was really at stake.

:lmao2: Ten Masked Men cover the Bee Gees Stayin' Alive and it's dubbed over the Bee Gees video! They do a bunch of songs, but this one is pretty funny with the dubbing.

Hearing that riff played with heavy distortion makes me want to learn it. Sounds pretty cool. :laugh2:
