and i didn't expect you to get it either. have a day.

It was real easy and you never answered. The way you darted and dodged, it was enough to make George Clinton proud.

Anyways, you are who I thought you were.

Keep on trolling, dude.

man this thread is out of control!

Code:
kill -9 `ps aux | grep "Commanders mystery" | awk '{print $2}`

just because you've not finished the 3rd grade so you could understand my answer doesn't mean i didn't answer it.

it was a team that was key, not an individual. seeking individual praise is what killed the team.

BP never would've came here if he didn't have a huge say in personnel, especially after the "buying groceries" comment he made when he left NE.

Of course some people still try to convince us Jerry was the main personnel decision maker when Jimmy was here, so I'm not surprised to see the same thing happening with the BP era.

Jerry is still the final decision maker. According to reports, he wanted Newman and Owens and Parcells didn't throw a fit about "buying groceries" and both have been exceptional for Dallas. He then got Bigg Davis (Pro Bowler) and Ken Hamlin (another Pro Bowler).

Not to mention that Jimmy wanted to make Steve Walsh the starter and Jerry had to convince him to go back to starting Troy Aikman. Even Jimmy admits to that.

Parcells wanted Kevin Williams not Terrence Newman. Parcells also wanted to take Spears and not Ware with the 12th pick.

And there was a former Dallas scout that mentioned this on 103.3 awhile ago stating the same thing, that Parcells wanted to "steer clear" of Newman, but he decided to let the scouts do their thing since he had been out football for awhile and figured that he should evaluate the scouts in his first year.

Pro Football Talk said it was Jim Mora Jr's job if he wanted it, but he's waiting for the Seattle job.

Perfect! Because if Mora does take the job he will have another "coach killer" as a QB. :laugh2:

I love the Commanders...they make me laugh!

The talk now is Jimmy Johnson as Director of Football Operations and Gregg Williams as coach, a lot of this comes from the fact that Snyder's plane was in Green Bay yesterday.

Like clockwork.

Whenever the opportunity presents itself, bash Jerry.

Well, he's a One Trick Pony
One trick was all that horse could do
He did that one trick only
It's the principal source of his revenue...

So what are you ranting about?

You don't believe Jerry has ever been the key personnel man in Dallas, and I don't either. Sounds like we are in full agreement. So what's your problem?

Congratulations on completely hijacking yet another thread with your witless Jerry bashing...

Last week on the John Riggins show, they spoke with a beat writer who said that Snyder's plane was in Las Vegas or Phoenix, but that it was kept super secret by the organization, he was told they didn't visit Russ Grimm, so they guessed maybe Pete Carroll.

I just don't see what makes people so high on Carroll. I mean he's an amazing coach, but his NFL record is not very good.

It could be a case of Belichik not doing well in Clevland, and hten doing real well in NE.

Carroll does run a pro style offense at SC, but I dunno, I think it's a completely different game.

newman (parcells didn't want him)
owens (parcells again didn't want him)
big (many fans didn't want him)

keep it up man. you're only proving my point about you.

why do people keep saying this? it's simply not true, and I doubt BP didn't want Newman, it was more like he wanted DeWayne Robertson, more

also don't forget that Jerry overruled Parcells, taking Marion w/ our original 4th round pick, BP wanted Canty there, but he acquiesed

it was the 11th pick btw, and again, just because Parcells coveted other players at those selections, doesn't mean he didn't want the other guys like Newman and Ware on the team, hell, did you listen to BP rave about Ware immediately following the draft, and comparing him to LT? yeah, he really didn't want him

I do find it funny though that you're calling out Bach's agenda, when you clearly had a little anti-BP agenda thing going for a long while

Pretty sure you've got that backwards. Jerry wanted Canty, or that's the legend.

But definitely, personal preference doesn't mean they didn't want the other player on the team.

no, BP wanted Canty w/ our original pick, Jerry overruled him, and that's how we ended up trading w/ the Eagles to land Canty in the same round

when you talk to someone who only speaks in extremes, things can get a little crazy.

yes, i've had an anti-parcells 'agenda'. but i've also admitted time and time again i've been wrong about a lot of the things i didn't like at the time.

not sure what else i can do for that one.
