Why do I sound like an Eagles fan? Because I don't think they're going to roll over and go back to the dregs of the division, where they resided pre-Reid/McNabb?

Don't get me wrong - I hope they do. But one season of losing their reign doesn't mean they are going to give up and rebuild. This team still has talent, coaching and management in their favor.

I just think he is so cynical. Honestly, he's a lot like a message board type guy - his only contributions in the booth is to try to get in one liners and make a joke about a specific play. His commentary just never seemed too insightful to me.

I guess he didn't annoy me so much as he just seemed to take up airspace.

. . . I remember him making fun of Campo's Cowboys almost non-stop. Hurt to hear it at the time, especially after an afternoon of beer and losing against wonderful teams like Detroit.

both oakland and philly looked boring and terrible at the same time tonight. i know its only pre-season, but i could only bring myself to watch the first half of the game. i hate both these teams, i had a hard time following.....

I like how everyone has magically forgotten how formidable the Eagles were before TO. And that was against teams other than the pathetic east, too.

That's an interesting observation CR. Also know that no amount of bad-mouthing on any MB, or on any franchise, can take away from a team's talents. The Eagles will be contenders in 2006 ...

Interesting observations tx...especially since this was the first opportunity to watch a game since February. Ok, let's say that 3-quaters of the game was boring. Did you miss the 1st quarter when the Raiders 1st team went up against th Eagles 1st team?
