What a freaking narcissist and prima donna! Why even waste one’s time with him. A 30 year-old coming off of 2 knee operations, I’m sure he will strike fear into opposing DBs. I think whichever team picks him is going to get OBJ-light…hopefuly not at $20MM.
On the same knee. The league has a number of guys over the years that who were amazingly good and then injuries happened and then boom they were gone. Hope he saved his money. His big pay day days are in the rear view mirror.

My guess... he isn't ready for contact or 30 snaps a game. He did not say he would not practice.

Ducking...

This guy is such clown for that comment. Why try in the regular season when you can let others just carry you to the playoffs is what this sounds like.

If he provided some context hey I want to get back asap, but also don't want to rush back too soon and increase the injury risk it would be understandable. Terrell Owens was a self absorbed head case himself, but he wanted to compete and would probably punch OBJ for saying such a foolish thing.

I have never seen other what other people see in OBJ.

The one thing he has done in his career to get recognition is that he heavily practiced one-handed catches (seriously, he promoted the fact he spent a lot of time practicing them), which helped him make highlight reels for spectacular catches. He did this though wearing gloves that do most of the work.

He's a 5'11 receiver whose quickness has been impacted heafvily by multiple injuries in recent years. I am not saying he is a bad receiver, but he has never been anything special.

He had one or two good seasons when he entered the NFL years ago and he has been living off them ever since. His greatest highlight reel catch was against the Cowboys in 2015 (7 years ago) in a game his team actually lost.

NFL history is littered with 1-2 year wonders that were anointed future Hall of Famers only to see their careers nose-dive in subsequent years due to injuries or the rest of the league figuring out how to stop them.
He's always been overrated. The media just loves him though.

I don't see the point of the regular season at all. So, we're canceling it! Playoffs only! Starting teams for initial playoffs round comes from paper, rock, and scissors team competitions. Then, playoff football for the winners! Get to it!
