Twitter: OBJ doesn't see the point of playing in the regular season

I went from hating this guy, to thinking he would be a great fit, to hating him all over again

Same. He’s not what this team needs and could fracture the lockerroom with his bs.

he’s not a dog at all. If this team wants its first owl in almost 30 years , it’s needs alotta dogs. Not divas looking to get wined and dined.

I can see it now.
Cowboy's are in a dogfight against the Eagles in the NFCCG.
Halfway through the 3rd qtr the Eagles score to go 14 up. Lamb is out there doing his best on the sprained ankle he suffered in the first half. Schultz is pacing the sidelines trying to walk off the shoulder injury he just suffered fighting for a first down. Things are beginning to spiral out of control.

Suddenly the camera pans to a disturbance in the stands. OBJ rises from his seat at midfield and takes the stairs, three at a time, bounding down to the sidelines. He enters the concussion tent then reappears three seconds later fully dressed, helmet in hand. The sun suddenly beams through the end zone windows creating an otherworldly aura as OBJ walks slowly to the huddle.

An hour later the clock hits 0.00 with the score Cowboys 38 Eagles 24. The team carries OBJ off the field on their shoulders. The camera catches Jerry hugging Stephen while repeating over and over.... "We did it our way!"

I think he’s going to get played here. He’ll sign with a major contender - for practically nothing - and they’ll use him for their run and cast him aside after the season like they never knew him. All the while, he’ll be thinking about lining up the next suckers to pay him that big contract that he mistakenly thinks he’s going to see.

He’s too blinded by being the center of attention to concentrate on the actual business of playing and proving himself.

Playing your first snaps for a team in the playoffs is a big gamble and not likely to pay off in a positive way imo

That's actually the most likely win-win scenario for everyone. He can hitch a ride on the last leg of a playoff run and rebuild some confidence in his knee both from his side and the teams' sides. Become a free agent that signs for $12+ million/year in the offseason for one final payday and the team that rented him for a few weeks gets a comp pick.

If he goes to a team like Kansas City of Philadelphia, he’ll be just another weapon. A ‘break glass in case of emergency’ afterthought, we’ll down the list of priorities. He won’t have the chance to show ‘next team’ whether he can or can’t play. He’ll just be allowing them to use him in case they need him. That looks like a win gif those teams only to me.

If he joined a team now and was ready and prepared and had the opportunity to show that he’s still the guy he once was, I think it could work. But if he signs somewhere to be the #4 option at best? He’s allowing someone to use him for nothing.

why? The guy says one thing, but the reality is he simply can not play physically. If he could, hed have no problem playing int he regular season, but for his own reasons he just cant admit to that.

Im cool with it ... he is simply not ready to play.

Some of ya'll really wanted this clown lol
why cant any of you read between the lines. He is not physically ready. Thats all this is. Its kind of like a kid that messes up and then gets in trouble. Their response is "I dont care." Reality is tey do care, they just dont want to say it.

This is what is happening here.

NBA mentality. They all think they deserve to get paid ungodly amounts of money while playing games only when they feel like it. The Cowboys better not sign this bum.

I don't hate, but I agree with rooting for the laundry.
As for OBJ?

NoBJ.
The more that people post about hating him and not wanting him, the more I like the idea of him playing for the Cowboys.

The general consensus of threads is literally always wrong. I

t's like the opinions of Bryan Broaddus. If he says there will be a blizzard next week, I'm going to have my Air Conditioner serviced because it's a guarantee that next week will be an epic heat wave.

Lol. My man.

This clown hasn’t been relevant since 2019… For me it’s gone from a soft pass to a hard pass.

He wants some guarantee for next year, just in case he breaks down again.
If he was prepared to accept a contract for just this year and say he was going to be fit for the playoffs, then Jerry would of signed (even for publicity purposes).
