Yea I'm pretty much off his bandwagon........if he's forced to sign for half of what he thinks he's worth, what player am I getting? One committed to the team and winning or a disappointed player picking up his last pay

I think if he’s the star he thinks he is then a nice base with incentives for playing time and production shouldn’t bother him
If he wants to make big money then all he has to do is earn it
I wouldn’t mind paying him 12-14 mil if he earned it. A base about 5 and the rest incentives. If he’s the stud he thinks he is then he will get paid. But in no reality is he getting 20 mil

He’s been offered 11 or 12 per. If that’s box wine prices to him, he needs to reevaluate some things.

If he’s actually been offered that in guaranteed money I’d move on

At his age with his injury history he’s just not worth that much guaranteed money
I wouldn’t care to pay him that much if he earned it. Bet on himself and take a contract that has a reasonable guarantee and incentives to get in the 10-12 range

He’s still trying to bank on his Super Bowl performance a year ago. He hasn’t played in a year and is coming off an ACL. He’s 30 years old and can’t stay healthy. If he’s not willing to sign a reasonable prove it deal I doubt anyone will sign him. No way will someone commit long-term to him.
