FRISCO, Texas – While the OBJ interview process wrapped up on Tuesday, the talk and speculation hadn't exactly died down by Wednesday at The Star.

In fact, Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones was asked by reporters if the talks with Odell Beckham Jr. were still on the table.

"We just need to see how the day goes," Jones said. "We're still working on it. Yes, that's fair."

While the Cowboys seem interested in acquiring OBJ, at least one veteran player sounds ready for a decision to be made.

DeMarcus Lawrence was asked on Wednesday if it's fair to say he wants Beckham signed by the Cowboys.

"It's fair to say I want to win a Super Bowl," Lawrence said. "So if he can come and help us with that, then yes I'll accept him. But if we're just gonna do the circus, no I don't. I'm focused on this year, this tam, what we have in the locker room and the journey we're on."

I am with tank. OBJ is a rental for one year and then trade or dump the next year. so if he can't play this year, then we don't want him or need him.

let him go to the eagles!!

Thanks for the distraction Jerry. Just what the team needed.
If these guys were really focused, they wouldn't be reading the press clippings. Focus on winning, it's a given that Jerry is a circus. Focus and win. Appreciate and congratulate each other. Stop with the press quotes when you win or lose.

/\ /\ This. Jed ain't the "Face of the Franchise". Never has been, never will be. However, he'll use ANY "tactic", if you will, to be that. He's pathetic. As long as the team is winning, and there's a chance of advancing......the media talks up the team. Not jed. Poor Boog and all his hard work.

Booger will milk this OBJ fiasco for the attention. Hes a narcissistic sociopath. The Dallas Cowboys are nothing more than an innocent victim in his quest to holler look at me. Yet again.

Nobody else offered this guy a contact during his visits to them. If he won’t sign for $5 then F him. Dallas is scoring a lot of points lately. They don’t need another receiver. Bolster that D and go win a championship.
Bolster the D??????

I think privately, most of the Cowboys feel the way Tank feels. They've been putting in the work all this time and now you have OBJ just trying to walk in and get himself a ring. I'd be pissed too at this point.

Booger don't care.
I completely agree with you. He'll sacrifice the team for it. See Owen's. Parcells saw it YET Booger disregarded and moved forward. He's the Grand Poohbah.

This whole thing with OBJ is a gosh darn circus right now... Get it done or get off the pot. Way too much of a distraction.

We scored 54 points last game.

What is OBJ going to do? Help us get to 64?

At some point, you gotta believe in the team you have. And stay focused inward..all this distraction from the outside is going to end up coming back to haunt us.

This isnt basketball..

Give me James Washington and lets get on with it..
