People are acting like OBJ is the final piece to the puzzle but he isn't the same guy he was years ago and even if he was he is a diva. He didn't win the Rams a SB that defense did. Like Tank said the circus will be in town with OBJ.

Did you see what OBJ was doing prior to his injury against the Bengals? Or are you just ignoring that completely to make a point? He was literally doing anything he wanted on that field that day until he got hurt. I get it. You dont like him. But dont create a false narrative to suit your opinion that is completely false.

"It's fair to say I want to win a Super Bowl," Lawrence said. "So if he can come and help us with that, then yes I'll accept him. But if we're just gonna do the circus, no I don't. I'm focused on this year, this tam, what we have in the locker room and the journey we're on."

I really don’t think it could be summed up any better than this.

If OBJ (or any free agent, for that matter) can legitimately contribute THIS SEASON and help this team win a championship, yes, let’s work out a deal.
Otherwise, stay away.

If Lawrence didn't want to be part of a circus he should have let the Cowboys cut him over the summer rather than redoing his contract. The Cowboys will always be a circus.. because of who they are. I mean this team survived T.O. for what was it four seasons? Or was it just three.. Either way at that point in his life and career they would have been measured in dog years anyway.

Old Jerrah should think about the Buffalo Bills signing of Von Miller. On the wrong side of 30 and two surgeries on the same knee just like ODB.

They signed him until he's 40. Didn't last a season and now he'll be close to 35 before he touches the field again.

FRISCO, Texas – While the OBJ interview process wrapped up on Tuesday, the talk and speculation hadn't exactly died down by Wednesday at The Star.

In fact, Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones was asked by reporters if the talks with Odell Beckham Jr. were still on the table.

"We just need to see how the day goes," Jones said. "We're still working on it. Yes, that's fair."

While the Cowboys seem interested in acquiring OBJ, at least one veteran player sounds ready for a decision to be made.

DeMarcus Lawrence was asked on Wednesday if it's fair to say he wants Beckham signed by the Cowboys.

"It's fair to say I want to win a Super Bowl," Lawrence said. "So if he can come and help us with that, then yes I'll accept him. But if we're just gonna do the circus, no I don't. I'm focused on this year, this tam, what we have in the locker room and the journey we're on."

Stephen Jones just did an interview. Said "the devil is in the details" so it sounds to me like they are working on something.

We dont need the drama ,

avoid locker room poison .

ALREADY ESPN SAYS THAT OBJ WANTS TO SUE THE COWBOYS FOR TALKING ABOUT HIS KNEE .

he is locker room poison .

They have nobody to blame but themselves. Why the hell would they say ANYTHING publicly about his medical condition?! Dumb and absolutely poor form, and yes, legally actionable.

LOL. OBJ isnt suing the Cowboys. This happens all the time. The Cowboys should be suing him for the money they spent on the tickets to the Mavs game considering he knew he couldnt work out and came to Dallas anyways trying to get paid.

Also. From what Jerry and Stephen have said in the last 2 days. They are still working on a contract. OBJ himself posted a pawn piece on Twitter. He knows whats up. This is a business.

For it to be "actionable" they have to prove the Cowboys leaked it.

Good luck.

I said it was actionable— not that he would definitely win the suit. But if he is able to prove Dallas leaked private medical info— he could get a settlement

The whole point is why leak any info at all? Our FO gets in it’s own way far too often lol… did we hear anything from Buff or NYG?

No. However they knew he was coming to Dallas regardless. If he had said during his meeting with either team that Dallas was on his radar. I can guarantee you it would come out. Its what teams do.

Loved Tank from the beginning, a lot less with the Hot Boyz silliness, but have been back to my original feelings about him for a couple years.

Does a lot that doesn't show up on the stat sheet. Yeah, I know the money, but I ain't the one paying him.

They didn't spend any extra money. Those guys sat in Jerry's season ticket holder seats.
