Suh wasn’t interested in Dallas. He reportedly turned down multiple deals from other teams. But it came down to Philly and San Francisco.
“Ted Rath is somebody I’ve known throughout my career since I was a rookie,” Suh said. “We were together in Detroit, Miami, and LA. There are a lot of familiar faces, and I’ve always wanted to play for a great city like Philly.”
Suh added that cornerback Darius Slay, his former teammate with the Detroit Lions, tried to recruit him to come to Philadelphia last season, along with defensive tackle
Fletcher Cox, who Suh knew from the time they shared the field at joint practices and Pro Bowls, with the two having mutual respect for one another.
