CB!!!!!!!!!

Henry is injury prone and Glenn is old, so how can we feel good about this position?

Even when all were playing last year, regardless of who was at fault, coverage was an issue!

This unit needs more talent period.

I would like for us to take a corner on the first day, we definitely could use another one. I'm a big Ginn fan right now, but I'd be ok with taking someone else if he isn't there.

Really, you are correct...and we should address this position in rd 2

I think Josh Wilson is as good as any CB in this draft not named Darrelle Revis.

I have no problem wit the Cowboys taking a CB but I don't think it is a must. Dallas secondary problems have more to do with lack of pressure than it does talent. No secondary can be asked to cover as long as the Cowboy CB have been asked without giving up a play. I hope Phillips aggressive style will help to take the pressure off the secondary.

yea i agree with you.. Henry is always hurt, glenn is old, reeves and jones havent shown much... WR is a luxury position Owens Glenn will be here next year and the year after that.. Crayton is among the best 3rd WR's to have in the slot.. and Austin and Hurd have shown great potential.. so WR would be a luxury selection mostly because this draft is very deep at WR... but if we dont draft a WR this Draft it wouldnt be the worst thing ever and wed still be ok for next year.. but if a CB isnt taken well be in worse shape

obvious choice yes. but the value just isn't there if you are taking the 3rd or 4th CB off the board

CB would be a good choice ...... but I still think we are going offense.

Dooms, I agree with your take on us finding a way to create more pressure, and if and when we manage to accomplish that, our secondary will be less vulnerable - "if" we can generate more of a consistent pass rush. Also, hopefully Phillips more aggessive style of play will improve our overall defense as well.

Without improvement from the pass rush even top CB will get burned. Give any NFL QB time to look the field over and step into his pass and they will make plays. I'm not opposed to a CB in the draft but I don't think the secondary is as bad as some around here claim.

If alan Branch falls to early 20s like some are reporting he might, we need to get him. Backup NT is the biggest need IMO and he'd be excellent learning under Fergy.

Josh Wilson is one of my favourite players in the draft. I think there's a solid group of second tier CBs; we don't absolutely need to use 22 on the position

I would look at Revis and Hall first, as 22. If they were gone, I would look to Meachem, Ginn and Bowe. If they were gone that I might go back to corner and look at Chris Houston - or perhaps go a different direction and take Justin Harrell or Joe Staley.

There will be good WRs (Jason Hill, Steve Smith, Sidney Rice, Craig Davis, David Clowney, Johnny Lee Higgins) available in the second and third rounds and maybe a few good corners as well (Josh Wilson, Jonathan Wade, Marcus MacAuley, Usama Young).

I have never been against getting a corner ....... I am against your stupid crusade against a very good Cowboys player.

Just like most of the board.

Why draft a CB, if we already have a "very good Cowboys player" at corner?

Because he is in his 30's has had a few injuries and we need someone to take over in a year or two .....

 seems simple enouth

Well..he does turn 31 this November. Seems kind of young, still.

I think there is more to it than "a few injuries"...
