Henry has been injured and is getting older as we all are. TNew is almost as old BTW which should put that in proper prospective. But our third CB, which all teams need, is much older. So no matter how you cut the cake, we need a CB. Our scrubs are not starting quality and have been around long enough for us to know that.
We need a S and at least one CB. I'd feel better if we had two and with a draft this deep in CBs we should be able to get two good ones. We have enough picks that using two for DB or CB will not hurt us.
You guys can argue all day but we need to draft DBs in the draft and CB is a high priority. The fact we need a NT is irrelevant concerning drafting a CB in this draft. There isn't anyone available to draft in the first two rounds at the NT position to warrant not using the picks elsewhere. If Branch falls far enough then we should look at that hard.
And we do need a WR. We have two legitimate starters who will be 33 this year. Crayton is still an unknown when it comes to being a number 1 or 2 WR. I don't care how much he makes or anything else about him. He's not experienced enough to count on as a #1 or #2. So we need to draft some WRs with a pedigree. That's not being a snob. High draft picks have such a higher rate of success it's ridiculous to argue otherwise. Sure low picks and undrafted picks make it but less and less in these days of extremely high scrutiny of every player in the US.
We have all the DEs and LBs we need unless someone falls in our laps. That's regarding the first two picks only.
So a number one and two for a WR and DB is the best way for the Cowboys to go with pass rusher right beneath them.
