Oddly, this game was confirmation for me that the Cowboys are right there

Seriously bro, stop drinking the cool aid and stop sniffing Daks jock
And you have exactly what to prove Dak is not a top 10 QB? Your expert opinion with no stats to back up your claim?

Typical troll logic. Dak is what he is. Not elite, but top 10. Any troll preaching one or the other will get proven dead wrong by me with full facts and statistics to back it up.

Just sit there and make a list of every quarterback in the league. You can’t tell me there aren’t more than 10 quarterbacks better than him.

This is one of the most pathetic threads I've seen on here. Talk about a complete lack of self awareness from the OP.

The Cowboys with Dak would still fail to enter the NFCCG by 2030 and some of y'all would still chirp "We're almost there!!!"

Our 7th-year $40M QB just got out played by a Mr. Irrelevent 7th Round Rookie and 'We're right there' :lmao2:
Don’t tell that to cowboy Roy lol

And our defense had NOTHING to do with Brady looking the way he did?

How about the offense's performance vs the Bucs' defense? Bucs were 8th in defensive efficiency this year.

Also won a road playoff game for the first time since '92.

Losing sucks. One team is happy at the end of the year. And make no mistake... beating SF and then losing at Philly would've sucked just as badly.
It's not that losing sucks. It's the expectations get much higher. 2014 is still the closest we've have gotten to the NFC Championship Game. The whole road game versus home game doesn't matter much to me. This team whether Romo lead them or Dak lead them is still the same. No real leadership. No heart. No determination to win. No domination. They don't kick it up a notch in the playoffs. We've been hearing all season how bad Brady and Rodgers look this year. Many of us just didn't realize how low Brady has really sunk until this game. We beat up a team that really didn't deserve to be in the playoffs. Brady had no playoff magic left. It was a great win for Dak, but to me we just lucked out at who are opponent was, someone who deserved to be there even less than us. The expectations have been high since 2016, that year promised so much and the cowboys have fell so short. I mean you may ooh and aah at first road playoff game win since '92, to me it was a lucky win and it doesn't change my belief that while the Talent is not the problem in Dallas that this team is Sick with a bad Culture and doesn't have any true leaders be it coaches or players.

The Cowboys are right there. Niners are just a little better. In a way I am proud of this team. They showed up today and for at least half of the game, we were the better team. It wasnt like last year where we got embarrassed. We lost, but unlike the gleeful homers I didnt expect us to win. Dak didnt have a great game by any stretch, but again, against the #1 defense on the road I didnt expect him to. Dak is NOT elite. Top 10 but not elite. I thought the defense played great, they just got tired in the 4th quarter. I thought the Oline had a great game.

This game was essentially over the moment Pollard went out. I was proud of the coaching staff. It ONLY took 4 years and one playoff game, but they finally figured out how much better Pollard is than Zeke. They started Pollard and were featuring him until he went down. Sadly we had to depend on the horrid Zeke and the first two drives out of the he basically had 2 yards and 5 touches with 2 dropped passes.

Without Pollard, I think its abundantly obvious that we simply dont have enough playmakers. If I am the Cowboys I find a way to resign Pollard and Shultz and I get out of the Gallup contract if at all possible without much penalty. I make WR a priority in the offseason along with another RB to go with Pollard.

ON the road, this was a game that would come down to a one or two mistake here and there and thats exactly what happened. 2 picks by Dak, which were NOT good throws at all. Even the tipped ball he shouldnt have thrown. But again, was he feeling pressed because we cant rely on our kicker? Who knows? Niners D had 3 chances for picks and they capitalized on two of them. Well done. Cowboys had two easy picks and dropped them both. It matters. If turpin goes to the outside on that kickoff return, he has a easy TD. A few little things here and there.

Cowboys are right there. Niners/Bengals in the SB. Bengals take it all.

No doubt the clowns will blame Dak, Moore, Cooper not being here, yada yada yada so lets hear it all.

This was a very good season and the Cowboys are heading in the right direction with a great young defense and are right there at the top of the NFL in that handful of 6 or so teams that are true contenders.
It's the evolution of accepting failure.
Sugar coat it all you want to, but I will never be a part of that culture of failure.
I don't pin blue ribbons on every fat kid in a race just because they tried hard.

1996, 1998, 1999, 2003, 2003, 2007, 2009, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2021, 2022 > Right There. 12 out of 27 years in the post season, not making it past the divisional round, since last Championship.
BTW, that is an NFL record - 12 straight playoff years without reaching a conference title game.
