Odell Beckham is having some serious problems with management here in New York. He hasn't shown up for anything and isn't planning on it, trying to goad the Giants into giving him a big money extension this year.

Might he wind up playing for our Dallas Cowboys after his team option year (2018) is complete?

Bryant, Beckham, Williams, Beasley, Switzer...

He might exhibit some of the qualities of a diva, but according to teammates, nobody works harder on film, in drills, or in the weight room than Odell. He's also considered a really good guy and a great teammate.

OBJ coming in to this culture with a few years of maturity, alongside his "big bro" Dez Bryant (his words not mine)?

Just something to discuss, the possibilities. I think other landing spots for him could include rivals Washington or Philadelphia as well -- I'd rather bring him down to Frisco and force them to see him every year twice a year. Also! Imagine OBJ's hype level going up against the Giants each game?

(welcome to the offseason! lol)

NY will resign Beckham IMO. He fits the bill for for the NY press style, especially with Eli diminishing.

Maybe he isn't holding out over money. Maybe it's either him or the kicking nets and he's taking a stand on principal.

As a big-ticket FA, no thanks. He's a hell of a player, but he's wound up pretty tight. It's going to be bad enough in a year or two when Dez' contract hit is mostly-absorbed and we're looking to save some money. I'd rather just put a high pick at WR in one of the next few drafts and sort of follow what we've been doing there for the last few years.

On the other hand, Dak would shred opposing D's with Beckham's skill set (particularly the underneath and slant routes OBJ excels at).

It is fun to think about. :)

I'd love to have him. He's a top 3 wr behind brown and Jones. imo. Just can't see it happening. He's going to be averaging at least 15 mil a year.

This thread turned out way better than I thought it would, lol.

Same - he's exactly the compliment we need to the other guys -- a little shorter, but an absolute speed threat. He would make life way easier for Dak, Zeke, Witt, Dez, T-Will, Bease, and Switz. You get a touchdown, you get a touchdown, everyone gets a touchdown!

Let the Giants deal with that head case.

He will demand upwards of 17 million per year and get it.

There is no way in any shape or form the Cowboys sign him. I'll give Stephen Jones a plus for hitting the "Don Not Bother" switch on this one.

Oh gosh no. He would cripple our locker room. He's in way over his head with his attitude. Only going to get worse. We've seen that happen to RGknee in DC. And look where it got him.

He might be lucky to still be playing in 2019 the guy is such an idiot. If he was a 'boy instead of a gnat he'd probably already have multiple suspensions.
