Of course you take the win but the QB doesnt give you any confidence moving forward

Against the better teams in the conference if he looked like this vs Lions. There is nothing I seen today from DAK that leads me to believe that he can lead this team to a win over the eagles late in the season or win in the playoffs
We've already seen Dak against the Eagles when it was a win and your in game. It wasn't pretty and I don't need to remind everyone what happened.

You're only allowed to post should have been Interceptions if it is Rush, not Dak.

There are standards that must be kept here.
LOL, IVE DONE THAT TOO. WHEN RUSH SHOULD HAVE HAD 2 OR 3 THE WEEK BEFORE

lots of assumptions in this thread title, maybe use I and Me instead of projecting on others....you dont know, Maybe i dont take the win and you dont know what i will take as for condidence from the QB..very assumptive.

I don't think he will as rusty from a five week layoff going forward and I think every week removed from that injury will be a physical improvement to his mechanics. The guy is still hurt, You have to know that.

This is why the Bears game is so important to the season.

We do have to see incremental improvement to Dak's performance if the Cowboys are going to have a chance to overcome a three game lead by the Eagles. At this point, the Eagles hold the tie breaker..

Dak's improvement should then coincide with the defense's continued domination with the natural consequences that the Cowboys continue to win. Should the Cowboys lose, it would be very easy to find the reason.

He played like 3 quarters of football this year and is coming off thumb surgery. Going to give him a break in this game. Going forward he should improve.

What would be our record on that the last 25 years? I remember it not being so hot before Dak either.

I’ve seen plenty of threads dissecting Dak when he missed wide open guys for TDs or threw wildly inaccurate passes (something all QBs do, especially when a receiver pizzas when he should have French fried), but this is the first game I’ve seen where Dak plays solid, throws some excellent passes into tight windows, and the only real complaint is that he got sacked and the offense didn’t score enough points….ridiculous unless you show how the blame was on him. Interception? Fumble? Missed passes on 3rd down.

Nope…we had penalties, fumble, and bad play calls end drives.

I would blame the 'rust' if I hadn't seen the same story for 6 years. Dak makes bad decisions (hello throws into triple coverage), changes into pass plays too often at the line, doesn't respect the run game, is inaccurate and takes a LOT of sacks because he holds the ball too long. Dak comes in.. and suddenly our pre-snap penalties are back.. the holding calls are back.. stuff we just didn't see with Rush.

And Rush is not an NFL quality QB.. be clear on that.. Rush is not a starter in this league nor should he be. However Dak will kill this team because he can't execute at the level required AND doesn't realise his limitations.

We had 3 points in the first half.. 3. Good teams will bury you if that happens.

And yes we scored 3 touchdowns in the 2nd half.. off the back of a strong running game and FIVE turnovers from the defence.. and an unbelievable return by Turpin. Dak worked with a 'short' field all half.. and we still only put up 21 points against a pretty weak team in the Lions.

Dak is our QB.. and I want to win so during the game I DO support him.. and I want him to be successful. What concerns me is that this organisation can't see his limitations and are therefore not putting plans in place to improve at the QB position so we have a legitimate chance at on field success.
