Of course you take the win but the QB doesnt give you any confidence moving forward

Stats have nothing to do with it. What it boils down to is the team has a top 5 D...two guys that can run the ball...can the QB make the critical plays at the critical time when needed? That's what this boils down to at this point for this season. Right now I don't have confidence. This is not a team that gives me confidence playing from behind.

That was the rustiest looking only missed 5 passes performance I've seen. He's got Chicago and the bye to get going. He really doesn't need to anything other than be ready to make those critical plays when needed against the better teams in this league. Otherwise, we'll be watching the same movie again we all have for the last 10 years... one and done.
Patience grasshopper.

This will get better. We won 24-6 and we didn't even play well on offense.

Yeah I'm good with the win. Games don't go as planned against teams you should beat... games go weird against teams you think you'll lose to, I get it. I need more confidence in the QB position at the critical moments. He's got time to do it. Hope it happens. If it does we go far.

Na they just like whining . 2 weeks ago wins all that matters.
Starter comes back every throw got to be on point

They are "nervous"...lol

Dak is going to be fine...he has been his whole career. He is the least of our worries and they act like he is the worry. Truly baffling.

And here I thought you said that I need glasses because of the extreme difference in QB play from Rush to Dak and comparing it to this game.
And how Dak's individual performance affected this game as compared to Coop's wins.
So when I responded that the defense's sacks and turnovers plus an effective running game (just as they were with Coop)were more responsible than Dak's passing yards...

I did not expect a report on low league wide scoring as compared to 24 points in the Dallas Detroit game.

Maybe just a simple, "yeah, ya know the defense and running game were the bigger influences on the Dallas win than Dak"

But then again,
You be you man.

did yall want dak to come back and be 30-35 500 yards and 5 tds

hes working himself back and he played ok today imo just dont make mistames and lean on your run game
Thats all Im asking, no room to complain when we win period, happy fan even when its dirty wins.
Dak has some heavy dust, most just want to see big strides early which I don't believe most that pay attention were ever expecting in this game.
Some around here consider me a hater, but Dak is this teams reality, hope he knocks the dust off next week and go into bye, and come back verse weak GB in Lambeau and we roll.
OK Im chilling now.

Anyway, The Lions gave that game away. Who remembers that they were about to score and then fumbled? Or that late interception they threw. Lets see if we improve when we aren't playing one of the bottom feeders of the league.

It's worth noting, but that's all. The Lions have played well despite their record and we beat them by 18. If the plan is to run the ball and control the clock, keeping the killers on defense fresh, I'm good with it and don't care so much about stats. Just hope QB1 is able to open the throttle up when necessary.

True Spanksta, but the W is a take with such a green Dak coming back.
We know that Dak is always allowed time to develop fundamentals.
The Dak Dust is deep.

I will be me, thank you for giving me permission.

I see you fall into the category of: If Dallas wins, it’s a team game. If they lose, our QB is no good.

Got it.

And I see you fall into the doing the same thing over and over after 7 years and 1 playoff win and expecting different results category.

Got it.

Against the better teams in the conference if he looked like this vs Lions. There is nothing I seen today from DAK that leads me to believe that he can lead this team to a win over the eagles late in the season or win in the playoffs
He had a 113 qb rating and no turnovers . If he had thrown for 450 yards 5 TDs and lost would you feel better about QB?

You know that he has played exactly 2 quarters of football since January, right?

Jebus man give the guy a break. After next week and then the bye it's a different story.

I’m willing to give Dak a game to knock the rust off. But after this, he has to step it up when needed. They need to continue leaning on Zeke and Pollard as much as possible though

Threw into triple coverage and avoided a pick. Seemed hesitant early on holding onto ball. When given time and space several passes were crisp

hope it continues

Im not a stat guy, I go by what my eyes tell me since I have 20/20 vision and my eyes told me the 3rd down conversion was awful along with bad throws. Stats never tell the whole story about the game.
