Offensive offensive line

The interesting piece to me with the fail by Biadasz is he has a chip from his LG. There is an almost 0% chance he gets beat to his outside yet he reached so hard that he whiffed completely. Maybe he thought he had a tell on the DT and was wrong? Maybe it was a miscommunication and Biadasz had the wrong assignment? Maybe he has absolutely 0 faith in his LG to even chip? IDK exactly but it seems to be more of a mental mistake than a physical one, and that is correctable.

It's the block by Steel that really concerns me. You can mask some of those mistakes inside, but Steele is going to be on an island at T. You need him to be better than that.

What is so interesting here is you had good blocking Martin, Tyron, and whoever the RT is (I cant make out the number to be sure). When people ask how PFF ranks the Cowboys so well this is the perfect example. 3 of those Olinemen did their jobs, McGovern did his job but with the play of the defense he wasnt really able to impact the play either way. Then you had 2 guys who completely whiffed. So overall this play would actually be ranked as a net positive for the Oline as four guys woudl receive a + grade and two a - grade.

The right tackle got badly beat. Watch it again.

You can also tell iys miscommunication all across the line.

Funny how some didn't have an issue with the OL in the first 7 games that saw Dallas go 6-1 but now that Dallas has gone 3-3 the last 6 games it's all the OL and OL coach's fault......anything to steer blame away from someone.
You're right

That handoff to the RB was terrible

I had high hopes for Biadscz but he clearly is not the answer. Even his snaps are all over the place. He needs competition.

What are the chances Fredrick is itching to play again?

I can dream, can't I?

That's the one thing I don't like about how Dak operates. I wish he would be like Brady and go off on the Oline. You see Tampa Bays Oline block for Brady like you would for a Dictator with your life in his hand. Dallas O-line just seems to show up for a paycheck.

to “ go off on someone “ they have to respect you and know that you are doing your job but they are not

when you are average and playing like it you can’t “lead” by going off in others

Brady and Peyton and Mahomes and Brees could do it

Dak does not have a leg to stand on

Yes, they were offensive! They looked like a bunch of high school kids, whose girl friends had just broken up with 'em! No focus! :omg:

According to PFF the Cowboys O-line is ranked #1, so they got that going for them.

FWIW, they have the Chiefs rated at #4. The Chiefs ran the ball with someone not named Mahomes 17 times last night for 54 yards.

The Chargers, with their 10th ranked o-line, ran the ball 39 times for 192 yards.

Just some interesting facts for your perusal.
Chiefs were missing their #1 All-Pro run stuffer

so you are saying that Dak is in a slump and playing average right now?

Outside of our first 7 games this year Dak is always playing average.

Dak is just back to playing like Dak. He’ll torch these teams like the Giants and people like you will start boasting about his numbers.

Just like a lot of you boasted about his Turkey day numbers after the offense stunk all game.

If Dallas wants Dak to look like he did earlier this year that will take us being able to run like we did earlier this year.

yah, Its steele actually. 78. He tries to block the DE and basically completely whiffs and falls down.
Yeah just a difference in terminology with the heavy set. I'm talking whoever is right next to Martin. I still consider that the T, then the extra tackle i've always had it referred to it as the heavy.

Dak is a good QB who hamstrung his team by wanting to be paid like an elite QB. Now that he can’t get anything with his feet he has come down even more

We will need a miracle like Philly got with Nick Foles if we are to win a SB. We are NOT doing it because of Dak

I don't dispute that, I commented on that play. Having said that I see a lot of inconsistency on the left side of our OL. Like many here I was looking forward to seeing McGovern get his opportunity but production on the OL has dropped considerably since making that move and has the organization contemplating making a change.
I think a big part of the issue is the change. Not just the guard but everywhere. Mostly due to injury but change on the oline is rarely ideal. Working together, knowing what the other guy is gonna do is key
Look at the long pollard TD and that’s a prime example. Smith got out front but he didn’t block the first guy coming from the right, he went for the guy in front farther up the field because Biadasz couldn’t have got to him but was able to get the guy coming across
Familiarity is so important on the oline. Hopefully we can get them all healthy for the playoffs
If the D keeps playing well and we can get a reasonable run game and Dak on track this team can win.

Yet here we sit 9-4 and soon to be 11-4. You have been proven dead wrong on all that nonsense. Dak wasnt running when we were 6-1 and he was the leading MVP candidate.

You want to talk about wasted money talk about Zeke Elliott.

You know you have lost the argument when all you can say now is "we will never win a championship with Dak". LOL

Just like the Romo turds, you Dak turds are down to nothing left to say.

I will take the opinion of the great Jimmy thank you.

McGovern had no chance at blocking 93 with his stunt inside.

Biadascz shouldve ear hold him but took an awful angle.
But what has every OL coach since Pop Warner told these players about missing a block? Go block someone else! McGovern simply turns around to watch the havoc behind him. GO BLOCK SOMEONE!
