Offensive offensive line

Biadasz has been such a disappointment. Was hoping for Fredbeard Junior. Instead it looks like Phil Pozderac moved to center.

His man was just waiting in the hole, having beaten him so quickly.
Ahhh....Pozderac.....a blast from the past. I'm not so sure Biadasz is like Pozderac just yet. Biadasz is still considered "wet behind" the ears, whereas Phil was a veteran who kinda sucked at what he did. But, I get what you're saying.. I'm hoping Biadasz improves with more experience.

Embarrassing. That’s really all that needs to be said. And there’s probably some on here that would criticize Zeke for this rushing attempt. He’s had no where to run because the Oline has been crap for a month and a half.

This thread has nothing to do with Dak to begin with, it is about OL. Dak deserves heat and there are several threads to say as much however this is about OL.

yes it does, QBs impact OL in several ways

1. elite QBs tead defenses better and get rid of the ball faster making their OL look good

2. paying a good QB elite money means less money for OL

among other ways

Can’t win with this kind of play.

We know already in fact the whole world knows by now that Rayne the pain needs massive amounts of talent around him to perform.
Call the NFL commissionaire and tell him to void the Cap and then Jerry can Buy us an SB with Dak leading the way!!!:muttley:
Then again with his current talent base franchise QB would have a field day out there!

One play. I have no idea what the Cowboys OL was thinking. They had an overload on their right side (4 on 3). On the snap Jonathan Allen charged inside to his left. It looks like Biadasz and McGovern were supposed to double team him, but when Biadasz blocked to his right and Allen moved inside to his left, Biadasz whiffed and McGovern had no chance to get to him. Biadasz should have anticipated Allen's charge to the inside based on the Cowboys alignment and the WFT alignment. If he cuts Allen off, which would allow McGovern to get in on the block the play may have gained a few yards.

I am guessing Washington watched some film of the Cowboys run blocking schemes and noticed the like to double the DT with the C/LG. Washington expected it which is why Allen was jumping to Biadasz's right to avoid the double team. I bet even Allen didn't expect Biadsz to miss completely.
Biadasz is decent haven’t you heard? Just needs mawr time!

Just like it happened with those 90s SB winning Cowboys, right???
o_O

:hammer:

The oline had a bad day against some top tier interior D lineman. It happens. That being said, id hope Dallas re-evaluates the center, left guard and left tackle positions this offseason.

two double team blocks both miss their assignments getting off the first block and too the second's, our center biggest issue but our Lineman running into each other and basically blocking each other doesn't help.

All QBs need massive amount of talent around them. Where have you been? Madden XBox?

Ask the O-Line coach. He sucks. And also Elliot being hurt. Watch the opening run by Elliot against the wft. He could have cut right after he broke the line and still been running. A big hole but still followed forward. Likely like is supposed to but Elliot usually sees that stuff, a break to the right side and he had one guy..

C’mon man. Two things can be true at the same time. You just have a Zeke bias. A lot of advanced stats show Zeke isn’t quite the elite talent he was thought to be. And I get excuse after excuse is used to defend the guy but he never seems to ever individually overcome an obstacle. Maybe the excuses would carry more weight if he showed the individual effort to occasionally overcome it.

Also the first run of the wft series, Gregory was rode down right in front of the refs. He had him 3 yards behind the line and the guy just rode him down. Obvious. Of course the refs call a flag on them 2 plays later. Then the deep pass where there wr fell and Brown had a wide open pick and Hooker stood there and watched him drop it and laugh. He needs to have his butt chewed.

Well here’s the thing. I don’t have a Zeke bias. I like him, but I also realize he’s not the same back he was in 2016. However, he’s still very good. He’s rarely getting any push or creases from the Oline, and the yards he does get are usually on his own. Anyone that knows football and watches the games has to realize the line is getting manhandled most of the time. It’s even happening to Martin every now and then.

Ok. Maybe I don’t know football enough to realize the line is better when Pollard is rushing than Zeke.

Full disclosure, already heard excuses like fewer carries = higher YPC.

Zeke has had a lot fewer carries than normal years. Has he improved?

The dude hasn’t been special since his rookie year. It is painfully obvious at this point. His blocking advantage doesn’t even make up for it and it’s even not at great as people believe.
