Offensive personnel, game plan, tempo is ridiculously plodding and unimaginative.

It's the Olines fault!

Oh wait.. They've been pretty good.

They have been decent in pass protection and terrible at run blocking. They didn't really blitz us until the end of the game and they didn't hold up well. I think they are playing slightly below average, overall. Not pretty good.

The scheme is keeping them average. My entire point.

When is the last time we fooled a defense?

We just take what's there or force a pass into coverage and hope for a magical play.

If we play actioned more than once a game maybe we could create some running lanes instead of letting the D over pursuit and not pay for it.

We're just toooo easy to contain.

Witten looks stuck in cement, Austin is AWOL, Murray runs like he's at the goal line... and Tony looks- old and weak, snd plays afraid. Dez is fabulous, but also has a bit of a black cat issue in that he falls in the fail bucket at inopportune times.

I don't know how to fix this team. I'm thrilled with the effort of the D, but this offense is a stinking turd.

well said-offensive is sad needs a complete overhaul

I was saying the same thing. These guys who have been defending Garrett, saying its the OL, have nothing the last two weeks. Our personnel doesn't match the play calling, defenses can easily defend us and our passing routes are so long and downfield, teams just easily defend it dropping two safeties back.

3rd and goal in the red zone, Dez is 1 on 1, no safety or LB anywhere near to give help on a hitch/fade/whatever you want to try. We run a bubble screen to Terrance Williams out of bunch on the short side of the field. WTH? It wasn't a Romo checkdown, that is a designed play.

Horrible play call.. I think that call may have been Romo, cause Dez went over to him at the sideline and was like, "why?"... But that is just assumption...

Garrett's offense is 90% from the 90s where they lined up and tried to run straight forward high percentage plays because they had a QB that was accurate and didn't make bad mistakes or decisions and everyone could beat their man straight up. The problem is that Romo is not Aikman and the talent is less than half that of the 90s. You can't run this offense without superior players and even then, it is so basic and predictable and was long ago figured out by DCs.

Going to need a new head coach for that........................we have had red zone problems basically the entire time Garrett has been here so I dont see it magically changing.

Just a matter of time before the Get Rid of Garrett threads start coming in......LOL its inevitable at this point......Jerry said 8-8 s not good enough and this team sure looks like 8-8 at this point......not much change on the offense from last year...same old problems

Once the Chiefs knew that Dallas wasn't going to do anything other than pass, they rushed 5 or more on every play. The put a lot of pressure on Romo in the 2nd half especially.

Thing is.... They about got us once. They blitzed a guy and knew Romo would go right where the blitzer came from and Derrick Johnson jumped the route but we got lucky and I believed it was batted down.

It's just too easy to defend

Limit spectacular plays and our offense is going no where.

That paycall is hard to figure.
All the Cheifs were on that side of the field !

Most of us were screaming to replace JG the playcaller with Callahan and look what has happened. It has turned our playmaking QB into Alex Smith and I can't stand it. If I had to to choose between the two crappy offenses then I choose JG's offense. At least we put up points and could score from anywhere. Beware what you wish for because you just might get it.

How about throwing "into" the endzone.

That'd be a good start.

I honestly cannot believe that they didn't throw it to Dez when he had his 1-on-1 matchup for 2 or 3 straight plays. It's pretty maddening. It's like this team makes a deliberate attempt to force the defense to account for every single skill player on the field, meanwhile the defense hasn't accounted for the biggest weapons appropriately and the opportunity is lost.

Honestly, the only time Dallas was high scoring is when Jason's gameplan was ditched after the team fell behind in the 2nd half.

It all looks pretty similar, just seems the team is less willing to ditch the scripted game plan as early.

Romo got his ribs caved in last game.....i'm starting to wonder how much its effecting him and this gameplan. I've never seen so many screen passes in my life.

There may be something to this. Throwing to his left - across body - a couple passes in the 4th quarter were kind of floaters - lucky there wasnt an INT.

You are right, they wait to throw to DEZ when he is doubled or triple covered. Wait I figured it out, they want to make it hard so Dez gets the highlights on sport center right. I mean it would be just too darned easy to throw to Dez in single coverage. What am I thing of, never do the easy thing, make it hard and difficult right?

We have a poor OL (getting better) and a playbook (Garretts) that is beyond conservative/vanilla. If I wasn't a Cowboys fan I honestly couldn't watch this offense play - it is BEYOND boring.
