Offensive personnel, game plan, tempo is ridiculously plodding and unimaginative.

Witten is the most dangerous player in the league from 2-4 yards out, after that, well, there is no after that because that's as far as he gets.

Witten looks stuck in cement, Austin is AWOL, Murray runs like he's at the goal line... and Tony looks- old and weak, snd plays afraid. Dez is fabulous, but also has a bit of a black cat issue in that he falls in the fail bucket at inopportune times.

I don't know how to fix this team. I'm thrilled with the effort of the D, but this offense is a stinking turd.

I don't either, but if history is any indicator the Cowboys will sign every marginal player on the team to a big contract extension and bring in a new head coach every three years or so.

We were moving well on Dunbar's fumble drive. We were about to complete a long one to Dez and he dropped n a later drive. We had first and goal at the 5 and the OL moved us back 15 with a blown assignment sack and a false start on another drive.

Against KCs defense we didn't move it horribly. I don 't blame the game plan today it was designed to win a tough grinder and take a few shots downfield. It would have worked if Romo and Co. didn't make the big mistakes.

There may be something to this. Throwing to his left - across body - a couple passes in the 4th quarter were kind of floaters - lucky there wasnt an INT.

Yea man good point. It initially started out as him getting the wind knocked out of him but now he's getting injections before games?

Attack the defense. Seam routes, do we even have them in the playbook? Almost all of our passes today were 4-12 yard range. Absolutely no attacking the defense.

That's Callahan offense, its brutal...

I just spoke with "vanilla" and even IT thinks our offense is bland

I am not sure that it isn't still Garrett's offense per se. The cynical conspirator within me can imagine Garrett maneuvering away from culpability as to escape any looming calamities involving "forced relocation".

Witten is slow but good. It's not like they can't squeeze him the ball because he's covered like a blanket. When they throw it to him, he's open, like he's always been. Austin is on pace for 96 catches and 800 yards. Not bad for a #2 and certainly not AWOL. Murray isn't playing well yet but this anti-Murray uproar is too young for me to join. Tony is hurt. The team claims he's fine but I'm not buying it.

But we don't look good, I agree.

Silver lining: we seem to have picked a good year for our offense to stumble out of the blocks. There are a grand total of three NFC teams that are 2-0 and none of them are in our division. Four of our next seven games are at home and those teams' current collective winning percentage is under .500 unless I'm mistaken.

It's not like we got clobbered. We hung in there on the road against what may in fact turn out to be a good team.

I watched so many other games yesterday where the teams made our offense look stupid. Detroit was able to get CJ open all game long. Miami had Wallace and Hartline all day. Does our coaches not watch other games and go, "That's a great play! We could do that!". I mean seriously, CJ was lined up in the slot and they did a little wiggle rub and Johnson was open for 40 yards. Miami does a slant and go for Wallace and he gets a huge chunk. Is it plagiarizing to use a play that another team uses or does our coaching staff have so much pride that they refuse to use anything that they themselves didn't come up with? SMH !

Just once I would like us to win one of these trap games. Just once I would like us to be the trap and have the other team say, "We should have beat them. What happened? They are a dangerous team but we should have won!" and then shake their heads in confusion.

what a bunch of cry babies.

You berate, but we will all be crynin' 96 tears once the wheels roll off this excellent excuse for a confounding and capacious calamity. There will be much wailing, lamenting and grinding of teeth! AGAIN!
