Id love to know how many other teams waste a roster spot on a guy who isnt good enough to play any position, but is kept for special teams only.

I simply cant believe that a guy like Scott, who can at least pretend to play Corner cant play special teams. This is just Jethro trying to out smart the entire NFL. Ridiculous.

Special teams is a mindset. Scott apparently doesn't have it. He has no dawg in him from what I've seen.

All teams probably have one or two. Go visit their sites and see the whining and report back to us. :laugh:

I get having a return specialist. Fielding punts is no easy task. And a lot of the best returners had no or mediocre production as position players. Hester and Sproles.

But wasting a spot for a guy whos only skill is running down the field? Name one. Maybe they are out there, but my guess is that any key special team player on any other team can at least be functional at another position.
 
I am surprised they cut Justin Rogers. They must be pretty certain Linval Joseph can still play because if he can't play week one they will have only 3 DTs on the roster. Rogers was not a star but as a rookie showed more promise, IMO, that Mazi did last year. I heard the will bring Daxon back on the practice squad, maybe Rogers too.

Roger’s anlld Daxon will be back if not claimed. Daxon gets an exemption and Rogers was a pick. So they likely want him back
