Zeke doesn't bring that element. He was terrible his last year here, and he was even more terrible in NE. This decision was not a serious one. Jerry brought him back because he likes him personally, not because he helps us win, just like when he rehired Campo again after the disaster that was his HC time. It's the kind of move that let me know we aren't going anywhere in the playoffs, because Jerry isn't serious about winning.
Zeke scored a lot of TDs and made a lot 1st downs that season.

I don't see any news that Abanikanda was cut only that he was at the Jets facility this morning.

If we cut Risen, does he have to pay back all the likes? Or is it spread across everyone on the board? Or are they fully guaranteed? And how many likes would it take to put him on the practice squad? We should know all the ramifications before making a decision.

Some players on the initial 53 that are surprises: Chuma Edoga (no IR designation yet), Matt Waletzko, Tyrus Wheat, Brevyn Spann-Ford

Of course, the Cowboys still haven't officially signed Linval Joseph, will need to make room for Muhammad in week two, and still could sign either Cook or Bowser.

So those guys shouldn't get overly comfortable.

Clearly not a good time to have the last name Johnson.

It's bad practice, not cutting LS Sieg and ST Goodwin and bringing them back later after some players have been moved to IR. Not smart, might cost them a player or two.
