I was a sophmore (I think). I'm pretty sure it was in my first year on Varsity

I think that means you played with Billy Bob Perkins (I think that was his name, no)? Short guy but man could he shoot the clutch 3-pointer.

South Garland basketball games are crazy. They pack that place well over its limit and the players run down the sidelines slapping fans hands and all kinds of crazy stuff

Basketball was never important at Garland until Ike and TaTa started playing for us. It was the first time since Mookie Blalock that we'd actually fielded an effective team. It was the year after our state championship, and the first time we ever beat Rowlett at basketball. I remember because I was at the game - first basketball game I ever went to.

Chicago will most likely win this game, but this shows that they aren't as good as they have looked (and I still don't get how everyone seems to forget that they very easily could have lost to a good, but not great, Minnesota team).

I will say this, though...if we were to play that defense, we would get thrashed. Bledsoe would crap himself at least every other play.

Arizona's secondary could have been burned on a play or two, and they may not be too talented, but i like the way they play.

well, one has to wonder when da Bears would start to read/believe their own press clippings.

I think you're thinking of John Branch, or at least he was certainly a short guy who could nail them from NBA range at a staggering rate

It'll be a cold day in hell before grossman becomes an Elite QB. Very good QB, sure. Top tier QB, no way.

No - I was thinking of Jim Bob, not Billy Bob. I got the name wrong. But I know that's who I mean, because I went to Austin with him and you just don't forget a name like that.

So who's going to comment on Arizona's little hole in the roof:lmao2:

Everyone knows that the Cards have Cowboy's envy. Playing a home game there is advantageous to us.
