None of them are surprise to me. When Malik Davis was playing in that final preseason game and they didn't play Dowdle I knew Davis was toast. Kid better learn how to pass protect. On Jabril Cox, other than knocking Daniel Jones out on that goal line run I can't honestly think of anything he has done since being drafted by Dallas. Bohanna is a jag. He got mauled in our run defense last year so we had to go get Hankins.
No surprises there from me. Then again, I try to keep up with players' progress. And we're looking at three players who got complacent and regressed. No wonder Parsons did his offseason regimen away from Dallas. I wouldn't want to surround myself with low-effort players full of themselves and hot air either.

How can you even consider the possibility that week 1 comes and they don’t have a backup center. Every year people act like these moves are final and they have no plan in place when making cuts. They know how they will correct the current lack of a backup C. Just sit back and watch!
What's really sad is the cowboys don't feel the need to worry about another team picking one of our backup centers up that's not good

When was he cleared to practice? Haven't seen a single report of it.
I‘ve seen anything from him already doing drills full go on his own to him saying himself he’s about a week out from full team practice.

Taking that and adding it to the fact that he’s been activated off PUP leads me to believe he’s at a place where he either can practice immediately or at least imminently.

It’s obvious the team believes he’s going to be ready to play by week 4. I think 2 weeks of full go practice is probably enough to be active, so look for him to start practicing anywhere from next week to week 1 or 2.

You guys are wrong.
Absolutely.

For an 80-year-old, the guy is rolling with a pretty high-level of intuition. Our fans like to blame him as the only constant, but then refuse to credit him for improvements. He's actually very in touch with personnel and the roster, which is the most ironic part of all the criticism.

Not saying that.

im saying I want JLew there in the playoffs. Not Arizona!
My apologies. I'm with you then on the Lewis part. I'm fine with stashing him or putting him on the 53 IF they think he will be back in a couple weeks. I randomly picked your post out of the bunch of Lewis posts and missed the gist of what you were saying.

Or maybe they have a trade in place or a veteran lined up in case they both get claimed. I’m sure they have their plan and a backup plan in place.
