Wait a minute. I thought I read a JJ quote before the last London game a couple of weeks ago where he said the Cowboys won't do a London game ever or something to that effect. Ring any bells to anyone?

he said we'd never play a home game there. jags can barely draw so i'm 100% certain they would be the home team.

hope the day comes when the NFL owners are smart enough to realize this whole idea of putting NFL teams in Europe will never work

I seriously doubt that they are looking to put teams over there…but to make money by pulling in some viewers and selling merchandise.

Has to be an "away" game. The last time was played the AFC South we played Jville and Tenn at home and Indy and Houston away.

I hope we say yes. I'll take any easy game we can get.

This.

And I don't want to hear anyone say that the Jags will be the Chiefs of next year because it ain't gonna happen. The Chiefs actually had Pro Bowl talent prior to this year and had several very close losses. The Jags are getting blown out by everyone.

Do the Cowboys get to refuse, or do they not have much choice in the matter?

I don't get the whole London thing. Why shut NFL Europe down if you plan on expanding into Europe? From what I understand NFLE was somewhat popular?

Just seems like a waste of resources to me.

Because it's NFLE, which is like having a team full of practice squad players playing a bunch of games.

PFT says the goal of having the Jags play in London four straight years is to build them a following in the U.K. But, they also point out that a lot of seats in Jacksonville could be uncovered and sold if the Cowboys played a road game there instead of London. The question is, why does Goodell think it is more important for the Jags to build a fan base in London by sending teams like the 49ers - and possibly the Cowboys - across the Atlantic instead of letting them play in Jacksonville for their local fans?

Because they can't fill the season without sending popular teams there and they can't possibly send enough popular teams there frequently enough to make it worthwhile.

NFLE was crap and that's why it failed. it had nothing to do with lack of interest in the sport but rather lack of interest in a product worse then the 4th qtr of a preseason game. American football has never been bigger in Europe then it is right now

I wonder, are game tickets much cheaper in London than here? Because I can't imagine the average British person being willing to pay even half as much money for an American football game ticket as an American fan would. I would think that you'd have a hard time finding 70,000 people in London who would care enough about an NFL game to pay the sort of stadium ticket prices you see in NFL games in America.

NFL, please stop this nonsense of sending teams to London to play...

THANK YOU.

To me, all of this London stuff and LA talk is done for one thing...

It allows the owners to threaten their cities if they don't get what they want. They will threaten to move the team to LA or London if they don't get the stadium money they desire.

Welfare for the wealthy; trying to hold the fans and their cities hostage.

And somehow they feel it's right to penalize the Cowboys over it.
