NFLE was crap and that's why it failed. it had nothing to do with lack of interest in the sport but rather lack of interest in a product worse then the 4th qtr of a preseason game. American football has never been bigger in Europe then it is right now

Thanks for the heads up. I just remember seeing a special on Andrew Luck and them talking about how his dad was the commissioner of the World Football League and seeing what appeared to quite a rabid fan base.

Still...they should reboot NFL Europe if they want to take advantage of the NFL's popularity. Having teams fly over there for one game a season seems like a waste and I don't see how having an actual NFL franchise in Europe would work.

I wonder, are game tickets much cheaper in London than here? Because I can't imagine the average British person being willing to pay even half as much money for an American football game ticket as an American fan would. I would think that you'd have a hard time finding 70,000 people in London who would care enough about an NFL game to pay the sort of stadium ticket prices you see in NFL games in America.

this is incorrect. NFL is massive in the UK and has been since it was first shown in the mid 80s

All the London games sell out at prices comparable to Premier League football

We get five Live games a week on TV (Thursday night football, 1pm, 4pm and Sunday night games and Monday night football)

I personally get every Cowboys game on game pass if not shown here, and know many others who do the same for their teams

I am able to argue the benefits of a London franchise both ways, not that convinced yet, but its undeniable the League would like to see the Jags established as the team for the UK fanbase to support. Which is a tough sell, as we all support the teams we already support

biggest supported teams over here are, in no particular order

Bears
Dolphins
49ers

basiucally the teams that had the most success (or Dan Marino) when most of us learned about the game

Thanks for your perspective! Time to make the Cowboys planet Earth's team!

Thrilled, totally thrilled

Saw the Cowboys in a pre-season game in the mid 80s against the Bears (86 I think) at Wembley and never thought they would come over for a regular season game given the attractiveness of teams hosting the Cowboys in their home stadium

Samir Khan recently purchased Fulham a London based Premier League football (soccer) team.

There is every indication that the NFLs' first international team will be a move of the Jaguars to the UK.

I love it. Not because of anything about the game or anything, but I love London and will now consider taking a vacation there to see the Cowboys.

Also, I'm not going to say it's stress free, but it's usually about 2 days and you should be over the travel issue. Best idea for me is to fly the monday before (we should be on victory monday anyway) and be fresh by Wednesday.

OH BS. American football is a curiosity over there and nothing more. No one with a brain should think that any team could survive over there.

I have no problem with the Cowboys playing in London as long as it is as the home team which we are.

To heck with London...If the NFL wants to go international, put franchises in Mexico City, Mexico and Toronto, Canada...

Only fans in Uk will be excited.

I like the fact that America's team will play in London. Like Jerry I did not want to see Dallas play there unless it was as a road team and that is the case. Putting Cowboys on the world stage is good for the league and for the Cowboys.
