*** Official Defense Thread ***

This thread should remain relatively empty.

I can't imagine anyone have a single gripe with the defense.

I agree. The defense has been fairly lights out all year long.

What really hurts is winning the turnover differential and still losing the game.

I hate the fact that once again they put the offense in a great position to win the game, and it didn't happen.

Ryan for HC

Defense did a great job. Couldn't ask for much more...they generated turnovers and held the Pats to only 20 points.

I agree as well but then again, I don't find reasons to hate the team every game day :D

Defense did their job. they were let down by the offense, especially at the end of the game. this is becoming a trend

Rob Ryan and his defense did what they had to do. Offense didnt hold their end. Red Zone failures :bang2:

Could of held to a field goal on the last drive. That would of been great. Besides that and Spencer is a idiot, can't complain.

Thank goodness for Rob Ryan or Jason Garrett would be coaching a 1-4 or 0-5 team right now, real talk.

The outcome is about as good statistically as anyone could've expected. The last drive hurts but the QB for the Patriots showed why he is historically one of the best.

Defense needs to keep playing like they have, and maybe one day the Offense can catch up.

Being the first D since the Browns to hold NE to under 30 you would think that the D gets No Blame, but they will because some expects them to bail out the O all Game long.

Brady scores on Late drives on a lot of D's not just Dallas. Up to Garrett with the Lead to find a way to get first downs and run the the clock

I agree cas, they were very good, until it really mattered and that has been their MO. I don't hate them, they are getting better and are 1-3 players away from being great. The fact remains that they give up too many 4th quarter points.

They were all over the Pats today until that last drive. I really do not understand why that happens so consistently, can you shed any light?

I won't disagree that the offense was flat today, none the less, they gave the defense a late 4th quarter lead. I don't blame the D, but I do not excuse them either. The Pats walked all over them the last drive.

The Defense has been good enough to win 5 games so far. It is the pathetic running or lack of run blocking by our offensive line and the overall offense that has hurt this team.

Yup...no way you can blame the defense....three turnovers and holding the league's most potent offense to twenty at home?
