Do we really want to draft a DE in the first round? Why assume Hardy will be gone? As hard as it is to hit on a pass rusher maybe we keep him. He will be expensive but it may be worth it if he is that good.

Have you watched our pass rush lately? Plus, Dupree is very good against the run too.

Well Hardy will be gone from around 6 to 10 games.

Yes but a rookie pass rusher generally doesn't produce right away. By the time the guy gets warmed up Hardy will be back. We can keep Hardy after the season. Drafting a edge rusher means we are giving up on Lawrence or Hardy.
