I'm not saying that line isn't important. But everyone here assumes that a lineman is automatically a good pick. Right now, we're fine on the offensive line. And we're not a running team. And our defense is crap. Without even mentioning quarterback, this is a crummy pick.

Real football moves mean getting an experienced competent Coach in here. Firing our current horrible GM, finding a QB who doesn't shrink mentally In big games. Start there. All we're doing is putting a giant band aid on this big cut.

Too bad he has bad back now not to mention his age. This team isn't going anywhere for the next few years and we passed on a QB for the future when we may be good.

Zach Martin will almost definitely be good during that future, as will Smith and Frederick. That future theoretical great Cowboy team will need a great Oline, IMO, and these guys will be the core of it. Yeah, you need a QB of the future to replace Romo, but Manziel is a risk. Martin isn't.

Quarterbacks are a lot more important than O-lines and it's not close.

I love this line (I know Leary played LG last year, but I like Martin there) and if Free plays like he did last year and Leary improves any, then we could have a great line.
