I do feel the "can contribute on SP team initially line" coming from our camp. Every year.
this team is sooooo stacked, we can draft special teams guys with our premium picks.

Hitchens on the phone with The Fan - says his agent told him he could go in the 6th.
Stephen on the phone and looking at the board. Working a trade?
Someone posts this every year after we draft some no name flop.
We don't have such a great history of success with our mid-round reaches.
Maybe Quarles just isn't that good.
Not great in coverage..
Basically a dime a dozen LB and we burned a 4th on him.
I have not seen one scouting report saying this guy was a 4th rd pick.
What about the no name people we draft/sign and they turn out to be huge contributors? If we like him as a LB - then we should draft him. Maybe he is better then Smith and Quarles... Maybe he is not, but judge him on how he plays not where you think he should of been drafted with limited knowledge.
If the Patriots, Seahawks, 49ers made this pick, people would say, great, what to they know that we don't.
That is what you usually get in the 4th round, then maybe become a starter later. Unless you get very lucky, and that goes for any team.

Broaddus is on the Fan, and is saying Hitchens will be an inside lb.
The Patriots/Seahawks/49ers would never make this pick. That's why they're always contending for the Superbowl.
And even if they did, our front office hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt that those teams have.
