We actually do great in the free agency part of the draft.
We suuuuuuck at the back half of the draft
I totally agree.

The problem is that we have a history of these deep reaches in the mid rounds, and that history does not suggest that they have any special knowledge about these guys.We have no idea what the professionals draft boards look like.
Everyone basing their "reach" comments based on Kiper and McShay. You guys sound...not smart.
I didn't say they know best I'm saying they likely put more effort into this than the pissed off butthurt fan
If those guys were worth anything they'd be getting paid by a club.
Hitchens on the phone with The Fan - says his agent told him he could go in the 6th.
He might turn out of be a serviceable player. But to take a player who is projected as a 7th rounder in the 4th round is a stretch, no matter how you slice it. Not to mention his measurables aren't exactly impressive. Hope he turns out be a good one though.

I have not seen one scouting report saying this guy was a 4th rd pick.
Just watched Kitchens vs. Nebraska and he looks like a young Bradie James. The problem is that we don't run the 3-4 anymore. Dude looks heavy footed but is a decent in zone coverage.
News flash. Nobody has a great history of success in the mid rounds.
