Everyone basing their "reach" comments based on Kiper and McShay. You guys sound...not smart.

The problem is that we have a history of these deep reaches in the mid rounds, and that history does not suggest that they have any special knowledge about these guys.

Not by much. The draft is a national holiday to me. I've been watching game film for over 3 months. Hitchens was a bad pick in the 4th no matter what anybody says.

He might turn out of be a serviceable player. But to take a player who is projected as a 7th rounder in the 4th round is a stretch, no matter how you slice it. Not to mention his measurables aren't exactly impressive. Hope he turns out be a good one though.

Well I doubt any NFL team uses kipers chart to go by. That said sure, it looks to be a reach. However, I'll wait to hear why before going ape**** and getting my mad on

Yeah, at some point you hope the cowboys play the draft in their favor... he maybe the player they wanted, but could they have gotten him later? Two talented players are better than 1.

I have not seen one scouting report saying this guy was a 4th rd pick.

My greatly qualified source that only I have access to had him going 1st overall, Cowboys got great value! Seriously though, who gives a crap about these "analyst" and their mock drafts non sense. Or even some scouting report from some dude in Arizona, Alaska, wherever. This is Dallas, if they liked him, and had him at the top of their draft board when it was there turn, you TAKE him. I personally don't know much about the player, but it seems Dallas loves him and they got him, hopefully he turns into a solid pick for us.

Just watched Kitchens vs. Nebraska and he looks like a young Bradie James. The problem is that we don't run the 3-4 anymore. Dude looks heavy footed but is a decent in zone coverage.

He also said his agent was protecting him from disappointment. Told him 6th, for him not to get expectation too high. Knowing he could go higher than a 6th.
