22...Reggie Nelson--I like this guy the best of all the FS in the draft. This does not mean the end of Watkins either as I think Nelson is athletic enough to play CB as well. Henry might shift to FS, he might not, but either way I would feel good about Nelson in the fold.

53...Quentin Moses--Ellis is a huge question mark coming back, even with him healthy we need all the pass rushers we can get. He will not be an instant starter, but in a couple years with him and Ware on the edges that is something to give opposing teams nightmares.

87...Steve Smith--I think this guy can contribute immediately in the NFL, but probably will not here due to the depth we have. Still though WR is a big needs IMO and getting Smith here would be a steal. I see him as a poor man's Marvin Harrison...great route runner, good hands, and very smooth.

Thinking along the same lines...

1.Reggie Nelson--For the exact same reasons as Carphalen. His versatility is the reason I would take him.

2.Jason Hill--Unbelivable effort at the combine and his production in college can't be ignored.

3.Brian Robison--Great motor, very good physical tools and a nice bookend for Ware.

4.Andy Alleman--This pick would depend on what Cowboys do in FA. This guy is going to play in the league a long time however...very athletic and a strong kid. Doug Free is another option.

Team Report
1 *JaMarcus Russell QB LSU The Raiders released Aaron Brooks and then lost out on free agent Jeff Garcia, leaving a gaping need at quarterback. Russell is more of a project than Brady Quinn, but his size and amazingly strong arm make him a better fit for the deep passing attack preferred by the Raiders.

Team Report
2 Brady Quinn QB Notre Dame Just to be clear, Jon Kitna was not the problem with the Lions' offense in 2006. Of course, neither is he the long-term answer. Quinn could be a star in Mike Martz's offense after sitting and watching for a season. In filling needs through trade and free agency, the Lions have also put themselves in an enviable position to auction this pick.

Team Report
3 *Adrian Peterson RB Okla Just who the Browns prefer between Joe Thomas and Peterson, if both are available here, figures to be one of the more intriguing decisions early in the draft. Thomas makes a lot of sense, but the team needs to improve quickly to save coach Romeo Crennel's job. Peterson might be the draft's most immediate impact player, but his lack of durability has to be a concern for a seemingly snake-bitten franchise.

Team Report
4 *Calvin Johnson WR Georgia Tech If Johnson, arguably the draft's top prospect, is available, offensive-minded Bucs coach Jon Gruden won't hesitate to make him the pick.

Team Report
5 Joe Thomas OT Wisconsin After losing Leonard Davis in free agency, this is a huge area of need for the Cardinals. And if Thomas falls into their lap, the team's representative may be caught doing back-flips en route to handing the selection card to the commissioner.

Team Report
6 *Alan Branch DT Michigan The Commanders' lack of a pass rush last season belied the fact that there is some outside speed on this team. What is lacking, however, is an interior run-stuffer.

Team Report
7 Gaines Adams DE Clemson Kenechi Udeze managed to start all 16 games at defensive end last season for Minnesota without producing a single sack. Adams posted 12.5 last season, despite being the focus of every opponent's blocking scheme.

Team Report
8 Levi Brown OT Penn St Rookie Charles Spencer looked like a future standout left tackle before suffering a terrible knee injury last year that some feel is career-threatening. The Texans made the mistake of relying on veterans returning from injury last season and bypassed Reggie Bush. They won't make the same mistake twice.

Team Report
9 Amobi Okoye DT Louisville With reigning Defensive MVP Jason Taylor, the defensive line wouldn't appear to be an area of need for the Dolphins. That said, the team traded Dan Wilkinson and Keith Traylor is a free agent. The Dolphins would like to get younger along the defensive line and Okoye is continuing to move up the board after impressing everyone at the Combine.

Team Report
10 LaRon Landry FS LSU The Falcons' safety tandem of Chris Crocker and Lawyer Milloy was one of the league's worst in 2007, especially with Crocker struggling mightily against the pass. LaRon's older brother, Dawan, was a fourth-round pick for the Ravens last year and made an immediate impact on one of the best defenses in the league. LaRon is even more talented.

Team Report
11 Patrick Willis ILB Ole Miss In filling numerous needs through free agency, the 49ers put themselves in great position here to take the best available player. Willis likely emerged as a legitimate top 15 pick with his standout performance at the Senior Bowl and Combine.

Team Report
12 Leon Hall CB Michigan The Bills will be looking for reinforcements at cornerback after losing Nate Clements in free agency. By answering questions about his speed at the Combine with a 4.39-second 40-yard dash, Hall may have vaulted back atop the cornerback rankings on many teams' boards.

Team Report
13 *Jamaal Anderson DE Ark The Rams added James Hall in a trade with Detroit, but they aren't done seeking help opposite Leonard Little. Anderson, a former receiver turned 6-6, 270-pound terror, has too much upside to let fall any further.

Team Report
14 *Greg Olsen TE Miami The Panthers have been looking for a top flight tight end for several years. Starter Kris Mangum retired and top backup Michael Gaines remains a project as a receiver. Olsen's spectacular Combine performance likely solidified his position as a mid first-round pick.

Team Report
15 Adam Carriker DE Nebraska Carriker, arguably the Senior Bowl's most dominant defender, is versatile enough to help regardless of new coach Mike Tomlin's defensive plan. Carriker is athletic enough to play inside and tough enough to slide inside in some schemes.

Team Report
16 Dwayne Bowe WR LSU Donald Driver continues to be Green Bay's only consistent receiving threat, and at 32 years old the team must plan for the future. Greg Jennings flashed early as a rookie, but his production tailed off in part to injuries. Bowe, the most impressive skill position player at the Senior Bowl, is a perfect fit in the West Coast Offense.

Team Report
17 *Reggie Nelson FS Florida The Jags will be looking help at safety with FS Deon Grant a free agent and SS Donovin Darius finishing each of the past two seasons on injured reserve. No safety made more game-changing plays last year than Nelson. The All-American recovered a fumble, blocked two kicks and intercepted six passes for the national champions, and has been compared to Pro Bowler Brian Dawkins. Jacksonville would be wise to keep him in state.

Team Report
18 *Jarvis Moss DE Florida Moss, long compared to former Titan star Jevon Kearse, is the type of versatile athlete the Bengals need on defense. Cincinnati kept Justin Smith with the franchise tag, but Moss could help fill the void left by injured David Pollack as an end who could see time at outside linebacker.

Team Report
19 *Robert Meachem WR Tennessee Having a potentially great quarterback with no receivers is kind of like having a Ferrari with no gas. Meachem has the size (6-2, 214) and speed (4.39 at Combine) to stretch defenses deep, opening more room underneath for Vince Young to operate.

Team Report
20 *Marshawn Lynch RB Cal The Giants said they are leaving no stone unturned in their search for Tiki Barber's replacement, even inquiring about the availability of Buffalo's Willis McGahee. Should they resort to the draft, Lynch makes sense due to his natural running and receiving skills.

Team Report
21 Aaron Ross CB Texas The Broncos traded for Dre Bly, but they're also in the enviable position of going for the best talent available because they have very few holes remaining. Ross, the 2006 Thorpe Award winner, has the speed and playmaking skills to be a Pro Bowl-caliber cover man down the road.

Team Report
22 Brandon Meriweather FS Miami Off-field red flags will be enough to scare off some teams, but the Cowboys have always shown a willingness to gamble on greatness. Due to the press given to LaRon Landry and Reggie Nelson, Meriweather doesn't always get his due, but the former Hurricane is among this draft's top defenders and would fill a huge need as a coverage safety to pair with Roy Williams.

Team Report
23 *Dwayne Jarrett WR USC The Chiefs' once-potent offense has steadily declined in production each of the past two years. The Chiefs could look at a variety of prospects here, including help for their aging offensive line, but Jarrett possesses the size coach Herm Edwards prefers at the position and would be a significant upgrade to their current receiving corps.

Team Report
24 *Darrelle Revis CB Pitt With questions about his pure speed arising, the Patriots could be in position to fortify their depth at cornerback with the falling Revis. Revis can pop back up to the top of the cornerback class with an impressive showing at his Pro Day, but scouts are questioning why he didn't run at the Combine, and for now, at least, are dropping Revis.

Team Report
25 Anthony Spencer DE Purdue The 3-4 defense has gained in popularity due to the explosive pass rush provided from its outside linebackers. Spencer may be the draft's best overall pass rusher, but his lack of prototype size (6-3, 261) may drop him down the board and leave him best suited as a 3-4 OLB.

Team Report
26 Paul Posluszny OLB Penn St The Eagles' run defense dropped to 26th in the league last year, giving up an average of 136.4 yards per game. Despite media speculation that he is dropping down the board, scouts insist the former Penn State star remains a viable first-round prospect. Posluszny's instincts and versatility make him one of the better linebackers available.

Team Report
27 *Chris Houston CB Ark The Saints' clear priority this off-season is to improve their defensive back seven. Mike McKenzie is a solid veteran, but Fred Thomas was continuously torched late last season. Houston's spectacular showing at the Combine likely cemented him in the draft's first round.

Team Report
28 Justin Blalock OG Texas With two first-round picks, the Patriots are looking for depth. Blalock, a four-year starter with experience at guard and tackle, would provide flexibility for a team that prides itself on versatility.

Team Report
29 *Michael Bush RB Louisville The release of Jamal Lewis was characterized as a salary cap move -- and he might eventually re-sign -- but since rushing for a staggering 2,066 yards in 2003, Lewis has averaged only 3.7 yards per carry. Bush, a 6-2, 243-pound bruiser with surprising agility, wasn't able to workout at the Combine due to his recovery from a broken leg suffered in Louisville's first game last season. That said, some feel he could have emerged as a top 10 prospect had he not suffered the injury.

Team Report
30 *Ted Ginn Jr. WR Ohio St While Ginn is certainly explosive, he is viewed as more of a return threat who can help as a receiver rather than a receiver who can help as a returner due to his less than reliable route running and hands. Ginn is viewed by some as luxury pick, and with few holes the Chargers are in position to add just such a player.

Team Report
31 Ben Grubbs OG Auburn Three of Chicago's five starting linemen are over the age of 30, with guard Ruben Brown (34) the elder statesman. The Bears also lack quality depth along the line. Grubbs emerged as one of the draft's top guards with a stellar season and Senior Bowl.

Team Report
32 *Lawrence Timmons OLB Florida St With Cato June and Rob Morris unrestricted free agents, the Colts will likely be looking at linebackers with the final pick of the first round. Timmons left FSU after only starting one season, but what a season it was: 79 tackles, 5.0 sacks, 18 tackles for loss, two blocked kicks and returned touchdowns on an interception, fumble recovery and blocked punt.

FootballsFuture.com

1. Oakland - JaMarcus Russell, QB, LSU
The talent and potential is too much for Al Davis to pass on.

2. Detroit - Joe Thomas, OT, Wisconsin
Put on a show at the combine, improving his stock, even though he was already the favorite at this spot.

3. Cleveland - Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma
With Thomas off the board, the pick is easy. They need a ground game to compliment the pass catchers in Winslow and Edwards.

4. Tampa Bay - Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech
A freak and the best player in the draft. A steal at this point.

5. Arizona - Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson
The Cards will try to move up for Thomas but the price will be extremely high and probably too much.

6. Washington - Alan Branch, DT, Michigan
Anderson may get some consideration, but the Skins take the wide body to plug the middle.

7. Minnesota - Jamaal Anderson, DE, Arkansas
His pass rush ability would be a welcomed addition.

8. Houston - LaRon Landry, S, LSU
Blew up at the combines and cemented himself as the top safety in the draft.

9. Miami - Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame
A steal at this point, and with the uncertainty around Culpepper, the Phins may need to take a QB.

10. Atlanta - Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville
Great player now, and isn’t even 20 yet.

11. San Francisco - Adam Carriker, DE, Nebraska
Too high at this point, but the defensive line has to be addressed.

12. Buffalo - Leon Hall, CB, Michigan
Clements is gone and they have to find someone to fill in immediately.

13. St. Louis - Pat Willis, LB, Ole Miss
Stud linebacker could play strong side or mike.

14. Carolina - Reggie Nelson, S, Florida
Stud ballhawk would be great in deep coverage.

15. Pittsburgh - Paul Posluszny, LB, Penn St.
With the release of Porter, the Steelers could use a boost to the LB corp.

16. Green Bay - Robert Meachem, WR, Tennessee
His combine performance may have pushed him ahead of Jarrett and Ginn.

17. Jacksonville - Ted Ginn, WR, Ohio St.
His speed would add another element to the offense.

18. Cincinnati - Greg Olsen, TE, Miami
Combine performance has him soaring up the boards and a big target over the middle would only open things up more for the rest of the offense.

19. Tennessee - Darrelle Revis, CB, Pitt
Could be the first corner taken if he works out well at the Pitt pro day.

20. N.Y. Giants - Levi Brown, OT, Penn St.
An upgrade at tackle needs to be found, and Brown is excellent value at this point.

21. Denver - Marshawn Lynch, RB, Cal
Lynch could flourish in the Denver offense.

22. Dallas - Brandon Meriweather, S, Miami
Could form the best safety duo in the NFL.

23. Kansas City - Dwayne Jarrett, WR, USC
The Chiefs finally land a go to target.

24. New England (from Sea) - Chris Houston, CB, Arkansas
The signing of Adalius Thomas addressed the biggest need, but you can never have enough secondary help.

25. N.Y. Jets - DeMarcus Tyler, DT, North Carolina St.
Tyler has the frame and strength to develop into a nose tackle.

26. Philadelphia - Jon Beason, LB, Miami
Solid showing at the combine coupled with some lesser performances by other LBs may have moved Beason into the first.

27. New Orleans - Aaron Ross, CB, Texas
The Saints must address their secondary if they want to take the next step.

28. New England - Michael Griffin, S, Texas
The upgrade of the defense continues.

29. Baltimore - Justin Blalock, OL, Texas
Would come in and immediately upgrade the interior OL.

30. San Diego - David Harris, LB, Michigan
Surprised some with his footspeed in Indy and has now moved into the #2 ILB spot.

31. Chicago - Tony Ugoh, OT, Arkansas
Fred Miller is aging, and whoever the QB is will need to be protected.

32. Indianapolis - Lawrence Timmons, LB, Florida St.
A little shorter than expected but still flies to the football, which is a perfect fit for the Colts defense.

I know for a fact we won't be drafting Merriweather w/ Ireland just saying the other day that character plays a major role in who they pick

There is absolutely no need for us to take a risk like that, especially in the 1st round.

No to Merriweather.

Why draft a guard high when we've got two pretty good ones locked up long term?

I like Robison, but we'd probably have to take him in the 2nd.

i dont believe id mind seeing Levi Brown come to town on the first day. I believe this guy can be a stud on the OL for quite awhile.

Position:TSchool & Year/Status:Penn State - SeniorHeight & Weight:6'5 - 325 lbs.
Scouting Report
Brown is an enormous specimen at 6'5" and 325 pounds. As one would expect from an offensive of that tackle magnitude, Brown is already an outstanding run blocker and will immediately boost the running efforts of whichever team selects him. A pretty good athlete, especially for someone of his stature, Brown should be able to develop into a fine pass blocker as well, sooner rather than later. Word out of the Senior Bowl is that Brown has been beating speed rushers to the outside and dominating anyone who attempts to bull-rush him. NFL scouts will also love the fact that Brown is arguably the most experienced player in the 2007 draft. After taking a redshirt in 2002, Brown started all 12 games as a freshman the following year and has been the stalwart of the Penn State offensive line ever since. He will be able to play either tackle or guard at the next level. If Brown keeps up his fine form, look for him to crack the top 20 on draft day.

Just picked up the Lindy's Draft Guide.....
1-22. Ted Ginn Jr. WR Ohio St.
2-54. AJ Davis CB NC State

BTW, Meacham and Houston are still on the board, whereas Merriweather is the only safety not taken yet.

In the second. Tanard Jackson (CB) and Tank Tyler (DT) are still on the board.

GMjr.com 3 Rd Mock Draft Last Updated on Thursday, March 08th, 2007.

1 Raiders JaMarcus Russell QB
Raiders love both Calvin Johnson and JaMarcus Russell, but know that they need a QB to start the re-building process.

2 Lions Joe Thomas T
Even after trading for OT George Foster, Lions still draft Joe Thomas with the idea that they will still try and trade Foster before draft.

3 Browns Adrian Peterson RB
Browns go back and forth between Quinn, Peterson and Johnson, but take chance on Peterson despite his history of injuries.

4 Buccaneers Calvin Johnson WR
Bucs debate taking DT Okoye to fill their biggest need, but Gruden can't pass on chance to take freak receiver Johnson.

5 Cardinals Gaines Adams DE
Cardinals are not desperate for a DE, but Adams gives them a potential game changing DE so they cannot afford to pass him up.

6 Commanders Alan Branch DT
The Skins were hoping Adams would slip to them, but with him gone they take Branch to clog the middle even though most have Okoye rated higher.

7 Vikings Leon Hall CB
Vikings need help at receiver and cornerback and after Hall's outstanding combine workout and their loss of CB Smoot, they take Hall.

8 Texans Brady Quinn QB
After declaring that they are listening to offers for Carr and not being able to trade for Plummer, the Texans draft a QB of the future for the 2nd time.

9 Dolphins LaRon Landry DS
Dolphins consider reaching for OT Levi Brown, but play it safe and take top safety Landry hoping that Brown slips to them in 2nd round.

10 Falcons Jamaal Anderson DE
Falcons need to replace Patrick Kerney and Anderson gives them a big, strong and athletic DE for the future.

11 49ers Ted Ginn Jr WR
49'ers tried to trade up to get NT Branch, but having to stay at 11 they go with the most explosive offensive weapon in Ginn Jr.

12 Bills Patrick Willis LB
After losing London Fletcher-Baker they replace him with Willis who had an outstanding combine workout.

13 Rams Amobi Okoye DT
Rams would prefer not to take another DT in 1st round, but after trading for James Hall they do not need a DE nearly as much.

14 Panthers Greg Olsen TE
While we still feel Miller is the best TE, the Panthers can't get over Olsen's amazing combine workout and they need a weapon at TE.

15 Steelers Charles Johnson DE
As the Steelers make the switch to a 43 defense they need to get one traditional defensive end and Johnson gives them a big, strong and athletic DE.

16 Packers Marshawn Lynch RB
While the Packers claim they are happy with the 3 RBs still on their roster, the chance to add Lynch is too great to pass up.

17 Jaguars Aaron Ross CB
Jaguars were able to sign an OT in free agency, so they do not have to debate and draft Ross.

18 Bengals Jarvis Moss DE
The Bengals biggest problem is their in-ability to pressure the QB consistently and Moss gives them an explosive speed rusher.

19 Titans Dwayne Bowe WR
Titans were hoping that one of the top 4 DE's would make it to them, but with none left they go with the best receiver available in Bowe.

20 Giants Levi Brown OT
Giants were hoping to re-sign Pettigout later in off-season, but once he signed with Tampa Bay they new they needed a LT to have a good 2007 season.

21 Broncos Dwayne Jarrett WR
Shanahan found his running back in Travis Henry and wants to continue to upgrade their offense and they take the tall Jarrett to pair with Walker.

22 Cowboys Reggie Nelson S
Cowboys filled their need for a guard with Leonard Davis, so they fill their next biggest need with a safety after debating between Nelson and Meriweather.

23 Chiefs DeMarcus Tyler DT
Chiefs need to find a way to stop the inside run and after adding MLB N. Harris in free agency, they take Tyler to shore up their DL.

24 Patriots Paul Posluszny LB
Patriots got Adalius Thomas in free agency and now get the ultra intense, strong, instinctive, versatile and tough Posluszny to play inside.

25 Jets Zach Miller TE
After trading for Thomas Jones, the Jets continue revamping their offense with the addition of the best TE in the draft with Z. Miller.

26 Eagles Brandon Meriweather S
Eagles need help on their DL and in the secondary, but Meriweather is the type of player the Eagles love because he consistently makes big plays.

27 Saints Tanard Jackson CB
The need a lot of help on defense and adding the tough and versatile Jackson gives them a lot of options in their secondary.

28 Patriots Tony Ugoh OT
Patriots debate between receiver and offensive line, but the chance to add a very athletic, long armed OT is too much for Belichick.

29 Ravens Antonio Pittman RB
Ravens are trying to sign a back in free agency, but without anything set in stone they draft the under-rated Pittman.

30 Chargers Aundrae Allison WR
Chargers debate between WR Allison and S Rouse, but choose to go with the smooth, athletic and very consistent Allison.

31 Bears Justin Blalock OG
Bears want to add depth in a number of spots, but choose to go with the most athletic offensive linemen still on the board.

32 Colts Jon Beason OLB
Colts will probably lose Cato June in free agency, so they choose to go with under-sized, athletic Beason to replace him.

33 Raiders Ryan Harris T
Harris struggled thru an inconsistent senior season, but he definitely has the athletic ability and smarts to be a solid starter.

34 Lions Justin Durant MLB
Lions desperately need an inside linebacker for their Tampa 2 Defense and Durant fits that role perfectly.

35 Buccaneers Baraka Atkins DL
Bucs need DL help after trading McFarland to Colts and then losing DE White in free agency and Atkins gives them a versatile DL who they can play at either DE or DT.

36 Browns Adam Carriker DE
Browns DL needs a lot of help and Carriker is a perfect fit to play DE in the 34 defense.

37 Bears (From Jets) Robert Meachem WR
Bears' receivers have struggled to consistently produce, but Meachem gives them a big, strong receiver with very good speed.

38 Cardinals Lawrence Timmons OLB
Cardinals have a solid linebacking core, but Timmons gives them a big, strong linebacker who can also rush the passer.

39 Texans Quentin Moses DE
Texans would like to get an OT, but with no elite ones left they gamble with Moses to help their DL pressure the QB.

40 Dolphins Ryan Kalil C
Dolphins debate between reaching for OT Staley, but go with the safer bet in Kalil who they feel can upgrade them at center or guard.

41 Vikings Sidney Rice WR
Vikings need a receiver who can help their offense take the next step and Rice gives them a very talented deep ball receiver.

42 49ers Josh Beekman C
49'ers offensive line really struggled in 2006 and Beekman gives them a strong and athletic linemen who can start at center or guard.

43 Bills Chris Houston CB
Bills need cornerback help after losing Clements and gamble on the short Houston who starred at the combine.

44 Falcons Ben Grubbs OG
Falcons offensive line has really struggled to block consistently and Grubbs gives them a very athletic guard.

45 Panthers Aaron Rouse S
Panthers have been trying to find a safety to pair with Minter and take shot on very athletic Rouse.

46 Steelers Chris Henry RB
Steelers want a big back and while Irons is more explosive, they love the size/speed combination Henry has.

47 Packers Daymeion Hughes CB
Packers get lucky when Hughes falls to them after he did not run well at combine and had to redeem himself at Cal Pro Day.

48 Jaguars Kevin Kolb QB
While the Jags have named Leftwich their 2007 starter, he has not proven himself as the long term answer, so they take chance on Kolb.

49 Bengals Marcus McCauley CB
Bengals take gamble on uber-talented McCauley who struggled thru a bad senior season and senior bowl, but was excellent at combine.

50 Titans Victor Abiamiri DE
The Titans have struggled to pressure the QB recently and Abiamiri gives them a big and very polished defensive end.

51 Giants Eric Wright CB
Giants need a lot of secondary help and because of that are willing to take gamble on UNLV's Wright who started at USC as freshmen.

52 Rams Rufus Alexander OLB
Rams have struggled tremendously on defense and Alexander gives them an under-sized and explosive linebacker.

53 Cowboys Anthony Spencer OLB
Cowboys need a rusher to go opposite Ware as Coach Phillips tries to build a pass rush like he had in San Diego.

54 Chiefs Josh Wilson CB
Chiefs secondary needs a ton of help and they take a gamble on the very athletic, but short Wilson.

55 Seahawks Marcus Thomas DT
Seattle's defensive line needs a lot of help on the inside, so they take a gamble on Thomas.

56 Broncos LaMarr Woodley DE
Broncos tried hard to sign Patrick Kerney, but after losing him to seattle they need a DE, so they go with the super intense Woodley.

57 Eagles Kenneth Irons RB
The Eagles have Westbrook, but they are always looking towwards the future and Irons is a super talented back who has fallen due to his lack of durability.

58 Saints Ray McDonald DL
Saints need help in their interior DL and take gamble that the under-sized McDonald can hold up there long term and be productive.

59 Jets Darrelle Revis CB
Jets need a cornerback to help solidify their secondary and take the slipping Revis.

60 Miami (From Patriots) Jason Hill WR
The Dolphins lost Wes Welker and choose to replace him with Washington State's Jason Hill who blew up the combine.

61 Ravens DeAndre Jackson CB
Ozzie has shown a willingness to gamble on players coming off injuries and Jackson has a lot of upside if he comes back 100%.

62 Chargers Eric Weddle S
Chargers need a safety to pair with McCree after cutting T.Kiel, so they go with the super versatile and ultra tough Weddle.

63 Jets (From Bears) Dan Bazuin DE
Bears go with the super high-motored DE Bazuin because of what they feel he brings to the team on and off the field.

64 Buccaneers Michael Griffin DS
Tampa tried to trade up to get Griffin and get lucky that he slides down into their lap.

65 Oakland Michael Bush RB
Raiders just renegotiated Lamont Jordan's contract, so they can bring Bush along slowly as he works back to 100%.

66 Detroit Michael Coe CB
Lions are playing the Tampa 2 now and Coe fits that style perfectly as he is best on plays in front of him and likes to hit and tackle.

67 Cleveland Tony Franklin DB
Browns desperately need to upgrade their secondary and Franklin gives them a versatile DB who could start at CB or Safety in time.

68 Tampa Bay Stewart Bradley LB
Bucs have a variety of needs (Safety, Guard and Linebacker), but Bradley is the best player at the 3 positions on the board.

69 Arizona Joe Staley OT
Arizona needs help along their offensive line and Staley is a very athletic OT with potential to become a very good linemen in time.

70 Denver (From Washington) James Marten OT
Broncos were debating between Staley and Marten and the Cardinals solved their debate by choosing Staley the pick before them.

71 Miami John Beck QB
Despite their confidence in Culpepper, they believe Beck has the smarts and accuracy to become a good starter in time if Culpepper does not bounce back.

72 Minnesota Ikaika Alama-Francis DE
Even though the Vikings have drafted DL high recently, both Des are overcoming injuries so they take the very raw, but super athletic Alama-Francis.

73 Houston David Irons CB
Texans have struggled to find a corner to play opposite D. Robinson and Irons is the tough, physical corner that would be ideal.

74 Buffalo Brandon Jackson RB
Bills are talking seriously about trading McGahee, so they draft a big back who can be their feature back of the future.

75 Atlanta Anthony Gonzalez WR
Falcons held off drafting a receiver for Vick until the 3rd round, but the under-rated Gonzalez is too good to pass up here.

76 San Francisco Paul Soliai DT
49'ers have struggled to find a strong NT for their 34 defense and while Soliai is raw, he has the size and strength to become very good.

77 Pittsburgh Aaron Sears OG
Steelers have consistently shown a desire to draft offensive linemen early in order to keep their OL playing at a high level despite free agency.

78 Green Bay Ben Patrick TE
Packers need to find a receiving threat as Bubba Franks has not been the consistently productive TE they want.

79 Jacksonville Kevin Payne S
Jags may lose safety Deon Grant in free agency, so adding the tough and very smart Payne gives them a safety who should play sooner than later.

80 Cincinnati NO PICK BENGALS GAVE UP PICK BY TAKING LB AHMAD BROOKS IN SUPP. DRAFT

81 Tennessee Kenneth Darby RB
After cutting Travis Henry and losing Chris Brown in free agency they need a back and the under-rated Darby is still on the board due to a bad 40 time at combine.

82 New York Giants Brian Leonard RB
Giants pick Leonard from their backyard and get a versatile back who can split carries with Jacobs and be a real weapon catching passes out of backfield

83 St. Louis John Wendling DB
Rams take chance on very athletic defensive back Wendling who played safety in college, but is best suited to play corner in the NFL.

84 Carolina Dave Harris ILB
Panthers thought about taking Harris in 2nd round and cannot believe their luck that he is still on the board now.

85 Kansas City Jacoby Jones WR
Chiefs have been trying to find a receiver opposite Kennison for years and take chance on super explosive Jones.

86 Seattle Marshal Yanda OL
Seattle takes Yanda because he brings the athelticism, toughs and competitiveness to eventually start at guard or right tackle.

87 Denver Josh Gattis DS
Broncos are excited to get a tough, hard nosed safety who can be a top teams player right away and eventually start at safety.

88 Dallas David Clowney WR
Cowboys have Owens and Glenn as starters, but take chance on very athletic and fast Clowney for the future.

89 New Orleans Jay Moore DE
Saints have helped their interior DL, but still need some help outside at DE, so they go with Moore who is very similar to former Nebraska DE Chris Kelsay.

90 New York Jets Julius Wilson OL
Jets want to build up their OL after using two #1's on it in 2006 and Wilson gives them an athletic big man who could eventually start at RT or OG.

91 Philadelphia Paul Williams WR
Eagles debate between CB J. Talley and Williams and take chance on super athletic, but wildly inconsistent Williams.

92 New England John Talley CB
Patriots secondary is getting old and Talley gives them a very smart, instinctive and versatile DB who can play corner or safety.

93 Baltimore Drew Stanton QB
The Ravens decided that Boller was not their long term answer when they signed Steve McNair and now take chance that Stanton is the long term answer.

94 San Diego Lyle Sendlein C
Chargers offensive line is solid, but the chance to add the versatile Sendlein who played all along the Texas OL is not something they can pass on.

95 Chicago Brandon MeBane DT
Bears DT position was beaten up by injury, off-field issues and free agency, so they draft MeBane to begin restocking their DTs.

96 Indianapolis Craig Davis WR
Colts realize that Harrison and Wayne are not getting any younger and Davis gives them an explosive receiver/returner.

How bout the 10 receptions he gave up against South Carolina?

every CB has a bad game, only allowing 2 100 yard receivers in 14 games is pretty good though

I'd rather take Jackson in the 2nd, AJ Davis was getting beat like a drum during Senior Bowl workouts

Fred Jones of The Huddle Report has an interesting Mock. Don't know that it's been posted but in effect, he gives several options at our current draft spot accompanied by percentage of probability. Here's what he has for us:

1st Rd. Pick 22.

22A Robert Meachum WR (Tenn) 20%
22B Joe Staley OT (Cent. Mich.) 16%
22C Michael Griffin S (Texas) 16%

2nd Rd. Pick 53

53A Tony Ugoh OT (Arkansas) 22%
53B Aaron Rouse S (Virginia Tech.) 18%
53C Ryan Kalil OC (USC) 17%
53D Chris Houston CB (Arkansas) 16%

3rd Rd. Pick 87

87A Manuel Ramirez OG (Texas Tech) 29%
87B Josh Gattis S (Wake Forrest) 22%
87C Stewart Bradley LB (Nebraska) 20%

I don't know that the draft will fall this way but in looking at this Mock, The only players I really don't love are Ugoh and Rouse. Ugoh is OK but I don't know if he's got good enough latteral movement to play RT or enough quickness to play Guard. The guy is powerful though. Rouse I don't love because I don't know if he translates into anything other then a Strong Safety. The guy is 6-4, goes 225 or so and runs a 4.5. He might end up at LB but I don't think he can be a 34 LB. He'd probably work best as a Will in a 43. Guy really should have made more plays at VTech with his kind of skills IMO. Other then that, I like all the rest.

Looks pretty good, but I'd switch Alleman for an OT and take a OG/C in the 6th or 7th.

Again, I see no reason to get an OG/C that high. Now an OT that high could come in handy next season when Flo is out the door.
