***Official Fire Garrett thread***

I'm in! (and have been for a while)

I don't care in the slightest about Garrett.

Jerry can own the team for as long as he likes. But Jerry needs to be held accountable for the last nearly 2 decades of let downs and pure ineptitude of this franchise.

If anyone, in any walk of life, did this badly at their job as Jerry does as his with signings, trades, drafts .. we would have no chance at employment.

Jerry runs this franchise business great, but he is an absolutely horrendous football guy.

At some point, if Jerry truly cares about the Cowboys, needs to realize that the best thing to do for the Cowboys is for him to take a step back and let actual football guys run the football side of the franchise.

But Jerry's ego will never allow it to happen. And the Dallas media will still never hold his feet to the fire like they will the coaches or players of this franchise.

He shouldn't have a job long enough to walk to the locker room.

Time to start looking for a coach now, as other teams are.

Not that it even matters. Jerry would just promote Kiffen as the new HC.

I cannot wait for JG post game.

Garrett IS part of the problem. Enough with the excuses.
I agree but he's only a symptom of anything. He's no different than Kiffin or Callahan to me. If Garrett is fired Callahan is likely going to be the coach. That won't change a thing. We will still basically be Jerry Jones' team not Callahan's team. And we will still have a program that is poor at paying attention to details.

If we were eliminated from playoffs I would say first thing tomorrow morning, but I'll say immediately after We lose to Kirk cousins and the skins next week.

Garrett was horrible! Kiffen is always horrible! I'm on board with blowing this whole thing up. No excuses for Tony either! That boy is simply cursed. DeMarco was visibly upset after he threw that 1st costly pick. I felt Murray's pain - like why in the hell are we throwing the damn ball? Pathetic!!!!!!!

The Cowboys are a laughingstock. I don't think they are ever going to be a good team again. It's been 20 years since they've been worth a damn.

Exactly if we hire another guy he needs to bring in his own offense and defense and run his own program on that side of things. Jerry should be on the business side of things.

Garrett didn't hire the defensive staff. Jerry Jones did. The problem isn't just Garrett. I'm all for firing him but we won't see change with the next guy if we have the same problem up top. Which is Jerry Jones. He's the real coach right now. Till that changes these coaches might as well be anyone on this message board.

We would do better with the next guy IF and only IF Jerry hires a coach with skins on the wall. See my previous posts over the years ad nauseum, but a Jon Gruden or Lovie Smith is what is needed in Dallas. Those guys would want their own staffs, but would not want control over personnel. Jones could not control the staff with a coach like that where he has to respect his experience and success.

I just want to say bye bye to Hostile, Rcaldw, and Idgit.

Your boy SUCKS.

Bye.

Not sure where the personal hostility comes from. So I like Jason Garrett as a HC. It's not going to keep him from getting fired if he doesn't get his job done. We blew this game with clock management after the LB corps was gutted. It is what it is. It's the kind of thing that loses coaches jobs, and it should.

That said, we can have these conversations without letting them get personal. I'm a stand-up guy. I'm not backing down from anything I've said previously, and I understand that you can't do what we did today by giving the game away in the hunt for the division by not running the ball when you need to. I think it stinks. I really like the guy. Still do. I expect I won't like the next guy as much, and I'll enjoy the team a little bit less as a result. Most of you will enjoy it a little bit more. For a game or two, anyway.

It might be an empty gesture, but it would warm my hear and make it grow three times if Garrett was fired tonight. I don't ever want to see his face again as long as I live.

Honestly I don't think Garret was given a chance because he wasn't given any control over anything. He was just a puppet of a coach like Wade pretty much was. Enough with puppet coaches!
