***Official Fire Garrett thread***

If this leads to our elimination from the east ( and it is likely right around the corner )... Then I don't see how Garrett survives this.... This was the worst loss of the yr and ranks high all time.

How many seasons have to pass by to see that Garrett is clearly out of his league? He needs to be coaching in college and learning the game or he should have been a coordinator somewhere for a decade to really hone at least one side of the game. How many historic losses have we had? Huge comebacks by Detroit? Arizona? Now this? This is what happens when you don't play to win the game, but you get a lead and play conservative. We almost always play to a team's level and it leaves the door open as we saw tonight. Don't you think it would have been helpful if we converted one of those 10,000 field goals into a touchdown?

The 3-11 Commanders are about to get well in a hurry. No way Dallas recovers from this and wins a game the rest of the year. Commanders would love to eliminate Dallas.

I hope we lose. I DO NOT WANT TO MAKE THE PLAYOFFS AND GET EMBARRASSED.

AND I THINK ITS IN INSULT TO FANS OF THE NFL TO HAVE THIS COWBOYS TEAM IN THE PLAYOFFS.....

Garrett didn't hire the defensive staff. Jerry Jones did. The problem isn't just Garrett. I'm all for firing him but we won't see change with the next guy if we have the same problem up top. Which is Jerry Jones. He's the real coach right now. Till that changes these coaches might as well be anyone on this message board.

Yes Jerry is the main problem but you cannot have your head coach in over his head and have losses like this happen. The coach is the leader on the sideline and Garrett has not proven capable in that area. He has no feel for game management and the game is too big for him. He must go.

The good news is that we will never, ever, again have to listen to the excuse-makers try to make the case that "we can't run the ball". Garrett proved beyond any shadow of a doubt that we won't run the ball.

And you can put that on his head-coaching tombstone.

He is finished after this.

And not soon enough.

Did I just read a stat that says this is the first time in franchise history we've lost a game up by 20 at half?

I've been a pretty staunch Garrett supporter but I can't logically hold that position anymore. His time is up.

It doesn't matter how bad he is, .. how many mistakes he makes, .. how many bad decisions he makes, .. how many times he blows it, .. how clueless he looks, .. it doesn't matter.

Jones will not admit that he is not a coach.

Last week he dressed up like a little boy going sled riding or snowman making, and today he was smiling and grinning and hugging Dez after his last TD like a water boy or a cheerleader, ... acting as if the game was over.

He has a lot of 'pansy' in him.

Somebody start a petition to fire the whole staff....strength coach...offensive and defensive cords. position coaches...front office...everybody.

Hell...have jerry fire himself.

Did I read that right, we ran 4 times in the second half?????

There is absolutely no reason for that. Up 23 points the game plan should be simple.

I love when the obvious becomes common to people who just dont know. Yes Garrett should not have been hired, yes fans tried to accept it. NO, he should not be fired he should have the class to resign and save the franchise pride for this. No he wont do it, but thats what should offically happen. Yes we should fire him only because he wont make the correct move. No, it most realisticly will not happen.

We don't need these threads.

Two more weeks and the entire staff is gone.

Then it's on to even more ineptness. Yes it's possible.

Jerry and Stephen should just put the headsets on and get it over with.

Charlotte went to Stanford, that's a better school than Princeton. Make her the offensive coordinator.
