Didn't like Garrett as OC and hate him as HC, but I have said this here many times before. Romo still hasn't learned to throw the ball away in the redzone and is simply not seeing the field, and relies on his receivers to bail him out more often these days. These two certainly compliment each other and I hope they both leave together as well.

........but it seems as if the coaches at this point in Romo's career expect him to change--he's a gunslinger, he's not gonna change. On the Goalline after Dunbar got it to the 3, needed 1 for a 1st.............tie Romo's hands by sending in Shortyardage set with Parnell and Weems......don't give Romo 4 WR's with the Defense showing 8+ in the box when they only have to protect 12 yard area......what the H4ll do the coaches think, Defense shows 9, Romo audibles, defense jumps out of it with 3 seconds on the clock..........it doesn't take a genius.

When the cameras zoomed in on Red, he looked just as lost and clueless today as he did when the Process started.

Didnt Aikman say once that Garrett could be President of the United States if he wanted to? He'd be perfect for the job!

Wouldn't surprise me to continue seeing Garrett fail up all the way to POTUS. The guy hasn't had a lick of real sustained success at any job he's had in the NFL, and yet he keeps getting promoted.

JG is your typical politician type. He wants to please everyone. Sometime you need to be a hard you know what and have a tough talk with your star players when they are not playing well or their "bad" warts are starting to show during the game.

Romo sucked today no doubt but this is when a real HC would earn his money by managing that player though the game.

That's what Holmgren used to do with Favre.

This defense went 4-3 with 3-4 personnel to protect Garrett, while firing defensive coaches along the way. That is how much this guy has been protected to prove Jerry can win with his own hand-picked coach.

We have literally destroyed this roster to prove that Jerry was right about Garrett all along.

And now, we're staring right at one of the worst decisions JJ ever made as a coach. Waste the prime years of a roster that was actually successfully built up enough to succeed. And then double down on that bad investment by switching defenses.

It's affected even what we do well on offense. We've had to play a lot of catch-up during this era, abandoning game plans. Our best offense is street ball now.

It has been for years, too.

I know Romo played terribly. I know Tyron Smith played terribly.

But man, Jason Garrett is an awful coach. How is it that when we are trying to make a comeback at the end, and the 49er player gets injured with 2:15, that we cant run a play before the two minute warning?

How is it that our hurry-up offense seems to take just as long as going in and out of a huddle?

Perhaps this is Linehans fault?

Not Linehan's fault because Garrett has been mismanaging clock/game situations for 4 years
