Who cares what Romo wanted? He single handily blew that game.

I love #9 but there ain't no defending him tonight, he blew it.
Just hope he gets it right, if not, we are picking top 5 in April/May... Maybe that wouldn't be so bad.

With our luck,we'll screw it up in the end, and end up picking #5, and all the good QBs will be gone.

I rather see an Official sell the team Jerry thread.

I felt like an idiot - being an outspoken Cowboys fan surrounded by Vikings fans at the old Texas Stadium - a year or 2 after our last real coach had departed. I can't imagine how overpaying jerry town fans felt tonight being drowned out by SF fans in their own stadium during that fiasco.

Someday Cowboy fans will realize that Jerry only cares about the bottom line...

He laughs at the likes of you and me...

I know Romo played terribly. I know Tyron Smith played terribly.

But man, Jason Garrett is an awful coach. How is it that when we are trying to make a comeback at the end, and the 49er player gets injured with 2:15, that we cant run a play before the two minute warning?

How is it that our hurry-up offense seems to take just as long as going in and out of a huddle?

Perhaps this is Linehans fault?

it has happened for the last 7 years, who is the common denominator?

Who would we bring in? Better yet, who would want to come here? I don't mean that as a troll post either. I'm just not sure that Jerry would ever relinquish enough of his power to let the coaching staff run the team how they want.

Dear next coach of the Cowboys,
You get a meddling alcoholic owner plus his joke of a son at VP of Personnel, and they will have control of what players you get.
You'll get a declining quarterback with a long-term contract who is also by contract your assistant offensive coordinator and has some unspecified power over playcalling.
You'll get a defense built from the waiver wire.

When do you want to start.

of course you are right. Jerry is happy if he has a team that is 7-7 and still in contention going into the final two games, as long as their is a fanny in every seat. If these things happen, then he is cool with everything and thinks he is doing an acceptable job of running the team.

Two points:

Garrett didn't throw 3 INT's and fumbled a ball that went back for 6 with the first 58 seconds of the game.

If we do fire him, hiring a coach in his place isn't the question we should be asking. Will JJ allow the next regime to implement their system without his final say?? Will he give up full control? He will not let go of what he is trying to accomplish, which is to build a championship team without Jimmy.
