Jemeel Powell -- Can Parcells spin tonight's performance?

Kalen Thornton chased the QB out of the pocket, got bounced around by about three O-linemen, AND still ran down the QB from the back. He's quick.

I can't see the game. Who in the past (anywhere for anybody) does he remind you of?

IMO? A slightly smaller Kearse.

INT Henson

R. Williams hurt.

That play sucked!
Randall Williams CB had him walled off against the sideline perfectly, but it didn't help that the pass was slightly underthrown either.

I haven't seen enough of Thornton to compare him with other players, but he just seems to have a nice burst as a pass rusher.

I haven't seen an effective speed rush in Big D for a spell of years.

The last guy who could do it (it won't be popular around here to say it) was a pre-injury Ekuban. Was just figuring out the game when he had the back injury. He wasn't the same when he came back.

Peppi Zellner had a fumble recovery for a TD.

Hambrick has 5 yards on 4 carries.

I wasn't trying to compare him with anyone yet except what's your first impression of who he reminds you of.

From what I saw last week he has that Haley build with the speed and moves. Now before anyone flames me he has to do what he's doing a long time before I compare him to anyone esp Haley. He just has the build and speed of Haley.

I'd really like for him to play to that level. Of say for the next 12 years or so.

NFL.com changed the Zellner TD to someone else.
