Trying to win a pre-season game, I guess.

worried about julius. ribs can be nagging injury. slow to heal. ain't no rib cast i ever heard of. thank god reshard showed the goods so well nobody could miss it. can you imagine EG as the feature back? just hope peterman isn't so bad as it looks now.

Jones will fight through it, IMO, he should heal quick and he seems mature enough to take things in stride.

And I can't imagine Eddie George as the featured back, he needs to be limited to short yardage and goalline snaps.

Richie Anderson and ReShard Lee would both offer more in a featured role, IMO.

God, please let Davis start instead of Dixon!

His ballhawking skills will be a huge plus over Tony's ability to assist the WR in catching the ball and his uncanny knack for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

what would they give for a guy that gets 1-yd/carry? i feel sorry for EG - but it's hard to view him as anything but shot.

First we gotta let him go. I'm not sure of that but it is a possibility IMO.

Only reason to trade for someone who is likely to be cut is to get first crack at him.

I don't see that happening. But it could. I'd love to see even a conditional pick for EG.
