I really want to get behind Garret, I think he is a fine Monday-Saturday coach but he has been terrible at game management to finish halves and games. We ultimately didn't get badly burned by not running a SINGLE time to finish the drive at the end of the half, but we gave Rodgers 1:00 by throwing it three times. A terrible decision is a terrible decision regardless of results. Then there's the 3rd and 2 on the opening drive, why oh why did we invest in this line and Zeke if we won't ride them? Finally comes the spike on the final drive when we had a TO in our pocket.
In the NFL the margin of victory can be razor thin, and coaching decisions like these are just unacceptable. The loss is fresh and pain full but you could put together a pretty damning low-light reel of Garret's late half and game decisions. This isn't some fresh faced new coach he's been in charge of at least the offense since 2007... Nine years and he is still struggling in game management. I don't know what to say, I like the man he seems like a smart and stand up guy but he has been terrible to end games...
