I would think they probably already have done some looking. That is why you send scouts out to different games and watch film of other teams playing.

I doubt either are really what they are looking for but reading the article on their release it sounds like Kelly still has something left. But Will Smith had a bad camp/preseason. Both are 33.

I don't think the answer to our issues are solved by a 33 year old player in major decline. Particularly at the DL position.

I would love to understand the logic of posting a "sign him up" thread for losers like Branch.

Is there any thought about the player and the DUI? Do you really think this player will help the team win?

Is that all you care about? Do you care about his age, lack of production, physical condition? What about the fact that he was released for reasons both on and off the field?

How about drafting better players and hoping Jerry gets a clue and gets out of the way of success?[/quote]

.

You have a better chance of turning Branch into a star

All this talk about defense and the offense sucks too.

I agree. Everyone keeps talking about the defense.....the defense #1s without some starters did solid enough. I'm more disappointed in the offense. The same offense we have been seeing for the past 2 years.

The guy has never really been that good. There is a reason he has already been on three teams during his career. Buffalo only signed him to a one year deal before the 2013 season. They got over anxious in giving him an extension before the season was even over. Not surprising for them. They made a poor choice a couple of seasons ago signing QB Ryan Fitzpatrick to a big contract and that didn't work out for them, either.

We finished 5th in points scored last year, though. 27.5 points on average. And no matter what we see (in pre-season lol), it will be better this year.

People are freaking out for nothing right now, when it comes to offense.

You're right. He's not that good. But he's better than Hayden for whatever that's worth.

He's done. As in, burned. As in, if he was a steak you ordered, you'd send it back to the kitchen.
