I hope Amari’s knee is ok. Dak nailed him there with a 4 yard bullet!

That was the funniest thing i ever seen. Pretty much summed up Daks entire carear

Dak ended up with a 92.5 passer rating. That's pretty good. 266 passing yards, 64.1 % completion percentage with 1 TD and 0 turnovers.

We all saw the officials take away several pass plays from Dak and the Offense. Dak easily would had had over 300 yards passing with over a 100 passer rating if it weren't for the officials.

The problem was not Dak or the Offense. Instead, the problem was the Defense, Special Teams and once again the coaching playcall decisions. All the same problems that hurt the team in 2019.

STAT MAN is here. . . And the Calculations prove without a shadow of a doubt that that the blame for this loss is . . . Anyone not named Dak.

How much of the blame anyone group or persons deserve is entirely up to you . . .

If you compare him to Wentz he is average if you compare him to Malholmes & Jackson, he should be on some practice squad

But but but but.. this is the same Dak labeled as "Best QB in the 4th Qtr" "Best QB to win 4th comebacks" "Super accurate long throwing QB" "The stats don't lie" etc etc etc... but when it counts and he has to put a catchable pass on 3 & 20 with the game on the line he overthrows it to the side line, and that 4 & 20 with the game on the line the ball hits the ground 10 yds away from the intended receiver.

Want to go back earlier in the 4th qtr? how about throwing an uncatchable ball to Coop's knees on critical 3rd down? or a dink and dunk pass (short of 1st down mark) on 4 & 3?

Had Cowboys won the game it would be all thanks to "Dak's another amazing game wining drive performance as usual".... but since it wasn't it is MM fault (and somehow the genius OC gets a pass).

If anything hopefully this game showed MM he can't trust Dak and Moore. That 4&3 (that otherwise was an easy game tie FG) was MM trusting Moore and Dak, Hope he learned his lesson and look for the right people.

He has not been benched before. I severely doubt he will be benched this season. "Will his level of play this season impact his standing in 2021?" That is a different question.

Funny how some people look at overall game stats for Dak instead of diving into the numbers more specifically:


266 Passing Yards for the game (forgot to mention that Dak had 168 of those 266 yards, or 63.2%, in the 2nd quarter alone......rest of the game he only had 98 yards passing)

64.1% completion percentage for the game (forgot to mention that Dak only threw 3 passes in the 1st quarter and had a combined 1st half completion % of 83.3% in the 1st half......yet in the 2nd half when the game was on the line Dak managed a completion % of 47.6%)

1 TD and 0 turnovers (forgot to mention that in fact Dak did turn the ball over.....11 times due to going 3 of 12 on 3rd downs and 1 of 3 of 4th downs)



Sorry but here are Dak's stats yet again by quarter:

1st 2 for 3 19 Yards 1 sack

2nd 13 for 15 168 Yards 1 TD

3rd 3 for 8 34 Yards 1 sack

4th 7 for 13 45 Yards 1 sack

I don’t think read anticipation is an IQ thing. A lot of really high IQ QBs like Sam Bradford were awful at read anticipation. I’ve never thought Dak was particularly good at it although he was improving last year. Tonight he didn’t seem to have it again. Was very quick to check down even when he had time.

Its the same reason everyone cant be a point guard . . . I am talking 80's NBA type level point guard.

Not everyone is born with the vision and anticpation that is required.

Having Dak at QB is like asking Robert Parish to play PT guard for the Celts . . . Larry Bird & McCale would still get open but they would never get a pass thrown to them and when they did , they would no longer havean open shot.
