I DON'T support him at all.

He left the New York Yankees, he was injured for most of this year with the Astros, and his post-season performance this year for the Astros was horrible. He's got a weak left arm.

In summary, I do not support Pettiti.

Pettiti is struggling right now, but he will be a fine pro in time. I am not saying he is the next 1993-era Erik Williams, but he will be a very reliable RT for years to come. A terrific draft pick for Dallas. And no I am not just posting this because his dad posts here too.

Pettiti is playing about like I think a 2nd round LT who has moved to the right side would be playing. The fact that we got him in the 6th means to me that he's playing better than expected. He is going to be just fine in time. Very few offensive linemen come in and tear it up their first year, except for some high first rounders.

Is it hurting us that we have him and Tucker starting at the same time. Yes, but it's a testatment to him that he had more guts than girly-man Rogers and beat out last year's starter, Tucker. Give him time.

Pettiti is playing above the level we should expect. He's a tough kid who has done a credible job this year. He'll just get better. Playing way better than a rookie pick generally does no matter where he was drafted.

We are 7 and 4.

It's called responsible posting and actually having a level of maturity that I'd say 99% of the posters on this board have.

There are a couple who don't see the difference between, "Petitti sucks" and "Petitti played poorly" etc.

We have some disrespectful, irresponsible guys here indeed, but thankfully they are few and far between.

Very well said Sarge. Some of the responses after we lose are far from surprising after you've been a member of this site for a little while. It unfortunately goes with the territory.

I think I ran into Jason Ferguson (was gonna ask Nors or somebody that knows more about him) at the movies just 3 hours ago when seeing Harry Potter, but I am not sure.

If the guy was giggling non-stop thru the entire movie, it was Fergy.

Nah, he wasnt in the same movie with me. When I was heading to the counter to buy my Nachos, I throught I ran into him. When stared at him for a brief second and he looked at me like "why is this dude staring at me". This was in Grapevine, TX, the city just west of Irving, TX. He had 2 earings in his ear but that is not all that uncommon.

Im not sure if it was him but I remember thinking he would be bigger so it may have not been him.

Dont know, but I wonder if he has a house in Grapevine? And he was by himself when I saw him, look like he was waiting for someone though.

Maybe he thought you were Ron Dayne.

Here's an off field, jovial Fergy.

Yep sure did. Same beard and really small eyes lol.

I mean, he was a big dude as far as height, but I am only 5-8. I thought the guy would be alot wider though. That is what I was trying to say, I thought he would be huge, like Nate Newton huge.

But yeah, that picture looks just like the dude I saw today. He was dressed like he had just got through playing pickup baskball or something. Had like a grey t-shirt on which it look like he was wearing inside out and he had on some shorts.

It was kind of chilly today, that is why I mentioned the shorts :D . I bet it was him, but I didnt say nothing because I really dont know alot of about the guy.

I stared at him for a split second and he looked at me like "does this guy recognize me or why is he staring at me". Funny thing is, I know alot of the dallasites at the theatre didnt recognize him either, if it was him because nobody was bothering him, which people normally do when a Cowboys is on the scene.

Yeah, looked like him. But he definitely wasnt dressed like he is in that picture LTN.

I bet it was him, I feel kind of bad because I like to always shake the hand of any cowboys player.

Fergy looks pretty thin on TV, sure not the huge, run-plugger I imagined when I read about him during the offseason, as I really never paid much attention to him before he became a Cowboy, so I've been pretty suprised watching him on the field

Yes sir.

Man, I know I told you guys about the day I took this picture with Randy White.

Man, when that dude grabbed my hand, I thought he was going to break every dang bone and that was when I was around 260, which I am around 207 now lol.

But truth be told, Randy was way bigger then the guy I saw today at the Theatre.

THIN?!?

I hope he reads this board.

That's probably the first time anyone ever said that about Butterball in his life. :)
