The defense gets the blame. As for Romo and the INT....the perception of him making mistakes at the worst times will mean Romo gets some of the heat. Fair or not.

Romo and this organization is just cursed. He has the game of his life, throws for over 500 yards... he gets the ball with the chance to seal the game and throws an interception just like in Washington.

Well in fairness Romo wasn't driving to seal the game in Washington, he was trying to come back. So there's that. But yes I agree. It's just like anytime its a critical moment or game he craps the bed. Some will hereafter argue "Well if it wasn't for Romo we wouldn't have been in the game" which is true. But that fact just doesn't offset his failure to be clutch. At least not to me.

I understand that I will be bashed for make such a thread, but I am actually serious here. Either Romo is the most unclutch athlete in the world or the mafia owns him somehow. Take your pick.

Romo threw his first INT of the season that wasn't tipped first. He threw for a ton of yards and TDs before that. The timing sucked, but frankly, if that throw doesn't get made then Dallas is punting out of the endzone and the result isn't any different.

I don't put this loss on Romo. As with seasons past, he put us in position to win, but the defense's inability to make a stop or put pressure on Manning is what cost us the game.

I truly believe some of the posters enjoy Romo failures more than Cowboys win

No. Its just he makes critical mistakes at the worst of moments. He played the best game and maybe against another team, it would have been enough. Not for Peyton and the Broncos. We needed that last drive. He had plenty of time. Just does what he does. Makes the critical error.

I'm just tired because it's the same old Romo. I was waiting for it to happen just like in the Washington game. He didn't disappoint. It's sad though. Romo had the game of his life and the defense was awful through most of that game. You score 48 points and you should be able to win. I'm not even mad at him. It's just sad. He is what he is. I like him and so wanted this for him but I don't think he's ever going to win anything of importance. Let's see what the team does next week. If the offense plays like this next week, we should win easily. I wouldn't count on it though.

Scenario: Romo doesn't throw the pick, it's 3rd and 16, and Dallas punts anyway. What did anybody see from the Dallas defense to make you think Denver wouldn't have scored anyway??

He's done.

Ever see Brady or Manning play a magnificent game and then just rip the heart of his team?

Actually, I've seen both.. and ironically, it was against one another. Not sure if you remember the Pats and Colts going up against one another every year in the AFC Championship, where Manning almost always threw a crucial INT to seal it for the Pats. And then Manning's INT in the Super Bowl in crunch time that sealed the W for the Saints. Brady's thrown a couple too, one against the Colts the year that they finally defeated the Pats to go to the Superbowl.

The offense certainly did enough to win the game. We have issues on defense and although Romo played 56 or so really good minutes of football, the guy is just NOT GOOD under pressure.

Agreed. He had a terrific game all the way until he threw that crucial interception with the game on the line. It's like his brain stops when the pressure is high. Everyone was posting on facebook/twitter saying Romo was about to throw an interception right before he did. It's like clock work.. sadly.

Oh that's not perception. It's reality. Just a matter of whether or not someone says its ALL his fault. But he definitely makes mistakes at the worst times. Throughout his career.

He just seems to zone out at the absolute worst times late in a game. That was by far the worst read he made all game. The throw never had a chance.

It would have been 3rd an 16 because Romo holds onto the ball way too long and takes horrible sacks. That's why Peyton is Peyton and Romo is a loser yet again
