Proud of Romo but feel bad for him at the same time. All the hate gets old

When you play for a team that 48 points isn't enough, stuff like this is going to happen.

Scenario: Romo doesn't throw the pick, it's 3rd and 16, and Dallas punts anyway. What did anybody see from the Dallas defense to make you think Denver wouldn't have scored anyway??

Right, so who cares? Romo should just always throw interceptions in that situation.

It would have been 3rd an 16 because Romo holds onto the ball way too long and takes horrible sacks. That's why Peyton is Peyton and Romo is a loser yet again

Right, except Romo outplayed him in every category today.

So our D doesn't stop them one single time and ROMO choked?

Romo played out of his mind and Romo choked. Is what it is. The defense plays a big role in the loss as well, but what defense can stop Denver anyway?

That's the way fans react. If Romo led them downfield and Dan Bailey missed a field goal, people would blame Romo for not getting the touchdown.

Some of the worst.

Agreed.

I don't understand why people can't look at Romo & this team objectively... why instead everything, in their minds at least, falls neatly into place in some grand "Romo is a choker, and that's why the Cowboys lose" narrative. The Broncos got pressure on that last series, and pressure will cause errant throws. Romo outplayed Peyton Manning tonight, and the only thing some fans here can think about is how Romo "choked away" another game.

Funny fact: Take away Peyton's interception and the 7 points Dallas got from it, and Denver would have won long before Romo's last pass. I think fate just likes to spit on the Cowboys, and Romo is the tragic figure.

I refuse to blame Romo for this loss. Absolutely refuse to. Sorry.

How? When it mattered most, he couldn't handle the pressure and made the worst decision he had made all day under that pressure. Some guys are great until pressure is applied..Then they fold!!

Not blaming Tony for this loss. I blame the D that gave up 48 points

This is the NFL and if your team needs 50 to win then you are doing something wrong because come playoff time that defense will get shredded.

Actually...pretty much every QB in the league will make a mistake under pressure. That's why you want a good pass rush. Peyton Manning made his first mistake of the season when pressure was applied.

Difference is that his defense stepped up and made a big play to win the game. That INT was a great play.

This is what many didn't seem to notice. The defense made an AMAZING play on that ball. Romo didn't just throw an INT. The defender DOVE in front of it.

That ball was thrown right to him. My mom could have caught that ball. Just like the Washington INT last year, and the JETS pick the year before.

I take it you didn't see Tyron's foot hit Romo's foot right when he was throwing the ball....
