This is what many didn't seem to notice. The defense made an AMAZING play on that ball. Romo didn't just throw an INT. The defender DOVE in front of it.

Shhh! If you keep making sense like that, the Romo haters will have to bring up the bobbled field goal snap against the Seahawks in the 2006 playoffs!

He had a phenomenal game by any stretch, it would be crass to put all the blame on tony romo. But he made the one mistake we absolutely could NOT have in that situation. a little over 2 minutes to go, backed up against your own EZ, tie game........ know your situation.

We all knew it was going to be shootout. I didnt expect the D to stop Peyton. If you told me it would be a tied game with 2:30 to go at home with a chance to win vs Petyon, I would take that situation. The elite QBs take that and cash it in. Romo just implodes in these moments. Thats the story of his career. Without him, we lose big, with him we lose in the most crushing of ways. either way, WE LOSE.

Until we find an available QB that can put up those type of numbers that doesn't choke. Romo is far and away best thing we are gonna get.

I take it you didn't see Tyron's foot hit Romo's foot right when he was throwing the ball....

I actually saw a Cowboys lineman, maybe it was Frederick, bump backwards into Romo as he released the ball. Looked like it had an adverse effect on the throw.

this was the best game I have ever watched from romo. then the dreaded interception at the end of the game rears its ugly head again. sucks to see it happen again.:(

He threw into triple coverage. Escobar wasn't open at all.

A defender diving in front of the ball isn't Romo imploding. It's called an amazing defensive play.

Anyone who absolutely didn't know deep down in their heart that was gonna happen is lying to themselves. Why you are not running on 1st down in that situation is unthinkable...Jason Garrett and Bill Callahan should resign tomorrow. The stupid just runs from the top down in this organization.

Yep, all the way down to fans like you

Murray was wide open over the middle, instead Romo tried to throw it into a small window in traffic and got it picked off..once again a stupid mistake by Romo that cost Dallas the game.......

I didn't say it was a good decision. It still doesn't take away that it was an amazing play on the ball to get the INT.

The HC and OC should have never put Tony in that situation. We should have been running the ball on 1st down, gaining some positive yardage, and letting the clock run down to the 2 minute warning and making Denver use their timeouts. There is no need to make your QB throw in that tight a situation, when the defense absolutely knows he's gonna throw. There is a high probability of a turnover or a negative play...as soon as they lined up in an obvious passing formation on 1st down, you could just tell something bad was going to happen. Again, I blame the HC and OC for putting Romo in that situation.

Triple coverage? Did some of you get punched and had triple vision before the play?

Watch the play again. The defender makes illegal contact on Escobar when he makes his break. That should have been an (obvious) flag.

Fine. Give credit to the D. But, Romo made the bad decision in crunch time. Escobar had like two guys around him and Murray had no one.
