Yeah, but Banks was here and released the year after Aikman retired.

I'm talking of a guy that was signed while Aikman still played, with the intent of backing up Aikman.

But he stunk -- I want to say in a home preseason game against the Raiders -- and was released like a week later.

It was a white guy, but Jamie Martin isn't ringing a bell. I want to say his name started with an "A"? But I can't recall.

Pretty much everyone looks bad in preseason every year the first two weeks. Except Arizona, they have to look good early every year to sell tickets. Although this year they are sold out. They looked like they are going to score some points this season if they stay healthy but they never do.

Anyway arizona whipped us in the first preseason game last year and then ended up being terrible.
